A third spray assembly is positioned over the third rack assembly and configured to direct wash fluid at articles located in the third rack assembly. The third rack assembly includes a wire framework defining the shape of the third rack assembly. The wire framework incudes a boundary wall at a first side portion and a boundary wall at a second side portion. A wire insert includes a wire floor portion. The wire insert is configured to translate along one of the lateral direction and the transverse direction. The wire framework includes one or more detents configured to provide positional feedback when the plurality of hooks of the wire insert pass over the detents.

A dishwasher appliance includes a tub defining a wash chamber. The dishwasher appliance also includes a rack assembly disposed within the wash chamber. The rack assembly may define a wash compartment. In addition, the dishwasher appliance may include a basket disposed within the wash compartment. The basket may comprise a magnet, and the basket may be removably mounted to the rack assembly via the magnet.

A carrier for one or more straws of an appliance such as a dish washing appliance. The carrier and/or rack may be in fluid communication with one or more spray elements when in a stowed position within a dishwasher tub. The one or more carriers may route fluid from the one or more spray elements to wash an interior and/or an exterior of at least one straw. The carrier may include one or more bridges projecting inwardly towards the one or more straws defining one or more pathways for received fluid. The body of the carrier may include a lid and/or latch.

A dishwasher having a tub defining a treating chamber, a dish rack, and a spray assembly associated with the dish rack. The spray assembly may include at least one sprayer positioned to spray treating liquid onto dishes received by the rack. The sprayer has two openings and may be movable between a first position and a second position.

A dishwasher for treating dishes according to an automatic cycle of operation can include a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber receiving dishes for treatment, a spray system providing treating liquid to the treating chamber, a low profile dish rack located in the tub and having a bottom wall and at least a side wall extending upwardly from the bottom wall, with a depending portion extending downwardly from the bottom wall and oriented at an angle to the bottom wall to define an incline angle, and at least one spray tube carried by the dish rack and located below the bottom wall, the spray tube having nozzles emitting spray into the depending portion.

An adjustable conduit and docking assembly for use in a dishwasher appliance is provided. The adjustable conduit and docking assembly includes a conduit configured for receiving a docking station at different heights so as to accommodate a height adjustment of a rack assembly to which the conduit is attached. The conduit and docking assembly includes a multiport docking station to provide this functionality.

A dishwasher may include a basket; tubing at the bottom of the basket; at least one utensil holder rotatably connected to the tubing and rotatable between an operating positionl, in which an article can be held at the utensil holder, and a resting position, in which the utensil holder is stowed away when not in use; and a nozzle communicating with the tubing and located to direct a jet of washing liquid towards an article held at the utensil holder. The utensil holder may include a clamping portion adapted to engage an article to be cleaned, and the nozzle may be located in proximity of the clamping portion. The utensil holder may include a valve means which provides for fluid communication between the tubing and the nozzle in the operating position, and which may block the fluid communication between the tubing and the nozzle in the resting position.

A dishwasher includes a modular docking system supporting the docking of one or more spray containers at various locations within a dishwasher. Each spray container includes a container body capable of retaining utensils along with one or more nozzles supplied with fluid by the modular docking system to direct a spray of fluid at utensils retained by the container body.

A dishwasher includes a rack provided with interior and exterior corner nozzles to direct washing fluid onto interior and exterior surface portions of an object placed in a corner of the rack.

A glasses rack for a dishwasher may be configured to hold glasses in an inclined position. The glasses may be inclined at a predetermined angle relative to horizontal to allow draining of treating liquid from the glasses yet achieve a reduced overall height of the dish rack relative to a conventional dish rack. A bottom wall of the dish rack may be inclined at an angle that matches an effective inclination angle of an upper, tiered dish rack, and the bottom wall inclination angle may correspond to the glasses inclination angle. A sprayer may be mounted to the dish rack and arranged to spray treating liquid into the interior of the glasses.
