ENDOSCOPE AND TREATMENT INSTRUMENT
An endoscope and a treatment instrument of the present invention include: an insertion portion that can be inserted into a subject; an electrodeposition portion provided on a surface of the insertion portion and configured to electrodeposit a lubricant applied to an outer surface; and a connection portion configured to connect the electrodeposition portion to one of a direct current power source and a static electricity generation apparatus in a state that the insertion portion is inserted into the subject.
BENDABLE TUBE FOR USE IN A SURGICAL DEVICE
A tube for use in a surgical device and a method for manufacturing such a tube. The tube according to the pre-sent disclosure extends from a proximal end to a distal end of the tube and includes a plurality of bendable segments. Each of the bendable segments includes three proximal openings, three central openings and three distal openings in a wall of the tube. The central openings are arranged along a circumference of the tube and separated from each other by central connecting portions of the wall. The central connecting portions are displaced from each other by between 105 and 135 along the circumference of the tube. The proximal openings are arranged on a proximal side of the central openings, and the distal openings are arranged on a distal side of the central openings.
Light therapy diagnostic device and method for operating the same
A light therapy diagnostic device comprising a shaft, an optical waveguide disposed in a lumen of the shaft and being movable forward and backward in a longitudinal direction of the shaft, and a transparent member disposed in the lumen and located distal to the optical waveguide, wherein: the optical waveguide guides a first light and a second light; the shaft has a lateral emission window which allows the first light and the second light to be emitted toward a lateral direction and a distal emission window which allows the first light to be emitted toward a distal direction; the optical waveguide includes a core and a clad, wherein a distal end surface of the core is inclined with respect to an optical axis of the optical waveguide; the first light passes through the transparent member in a state where the optical waveguide is in contact with the transparent member.
