DETECTION DEVICES
Methods, systems, and apparatuses are provided for detecting and determining conditions of and conditions within a fluid conduit.
STRUCTURE EVALUATION METHOD AND STRUCTURE EVALUATION SYSTEM
According to one embodiment, a structure evaluation system includes a wave guide, a first sensor, a second sensor, and a calculation part. The wave guide is formed in a rod shape, is inserted into a hole that is formed at a predetermined depth from a surface of a measurement target, and has one end fixed to a deepest portion of the hole. The first sensor is provided at the other end of the wave guide at a position that is substantially the same as the surface. The second sensor is provided on the surface of the measurement target. The calculation part estimates a depth of damage occurring in the measurement target from the surface on the basis of a first detection value of an elastic wave transmitted to the measurement target which is detected by the first sensor through the wave guide and a second detection value obtained by an elastic wave which is detected by the second sensor.
Cylindrical ultrasonic scanning apparatus
An apparatus for scanning a cylindrical part is provided. The apparatus includes an ultrasonic transducer operable to emit ultrasonic waves into and receive ultrasonic waves from the part, with the ultrasonic transducer connected to a translation stage to move it up and down the part and around the circumference of the part. The apparatus does not mechanically contact the cylindrical or maintains contact only with soft elements, such that the apparatus does not damage sensitive parts. The apparatus also contains no magnetic parts, nor any elements that rely on magnetic detection, such that the apparatus is capable of being used in the vicinity of a part exhibiting a strong magnetic field.
DETECTION DEVICES FOR DETERMINING ONE OR MORE PIPE CONDITIONS VIA AT LEAST ONE ACOUSTIC SENSOR AND INCLUDING CONNECTION FEATURES TO CONNECT WITH AN INSERT
Methods, systems, and apparatuses are provided for detecting and determining conditions of and conditions within a fluid conduit.
Ultrasonic testing system of dual robot arms and method thereof
An ultrasonic testing system of dual robot arms and an ultrasonic testing method for use in testing quality of surface and interior of a workpiece. The system includes an extension rod provided between a tail-end of a master robot arm and an emitting probe and/or between a tail-end of a slave robot arm and a receiving probe. One or more connected extension rod rotating shafts is provided between the extension rod and the emitting probe or between the extension rod and the receiving probe. The method uses an X-axis constraint method to convert posture data of the discrete points in a trajectory file of the tested workpiece into Euler angles, and constrain the X-axes of the auxiliary coordinate systems at the same time so that the positive direction of the X-axis of each of the auxiliary coordinate systems is the trajectory tangent direction.
Pipe sensors
Methods, systems, and apparatuses are provided for detecting and determining conditions of and conditions within a fluid conduit.
Multi-feed detection device, multi-feed detection method, and electronic device
A multi-feed detection device includes a transmission circuit substrate on which an ultrasonic transmitter transmitting an ultrasonic wave is installed, and an ultrasonic receiver receiving the ultrasonic wave. The ultrasonic transmitter transmits the ultrasonic wave in a direction intersecting a thickness direction of the transmission circuit substrate and at least one of the ultrasonic transmitter and the ultrasonic receiver has a plurality of ultrasonic elements.
System and Method of Testing the Tension of Anchors in a Dam
Systems and methods of determining a tension of an anchor embedded in a dam are described. A dynamic impulse response of the dam is empirically obtained in such that a portion of the empirical dynamic impulse response is dominated by a dynamic behavior of the anchor. Furthermore, a set of modeled impulse responses that map to a set of tension values for the anchor are obtained. Next, a closest matching modeled impulse response from the set of modeled impulse responses that is a closest match to the portion of the empirical dynamic impulse response that is dominated by the dynamic behavior of the anchor is determined. Finally, a tension value from the set of tension values is selected, which is the closest match to the portion of the dynamic impulse response dominated by the dynamic behavior of the anchor. As such, the tension value of the anchor can be determined.
Inspection robots with configurable interface plates
Inspection robots with configurable interface plates are described. An example inspection robot may have a housing with at least three removable interface plates, each removable interface plate having a coupling interface for an electronic component on a first side, and coupled to at least one of a plurality of electronic boards on a second side. The example inspection robot may further include a drive module configured to couple to at least one of the removable interface plates, and a payload configured to couple to at least one of the removable interface plates. The example inspection robot may further include a means for operating the inspection robot in response to the drive module coupled to one of the removable interface plates, and the payload coupled to any other one of the removable interface plates.
INSPECTION SYSTEM, MOBILE ROBOT DEVICE, AND INSPECTION METHOD
The present invention makes it possible for sounding of an inspection location on an outer wall of a building or the like to be performed using a simple operation. A user interface device accepts an input for designating an inspection location. The mobile robot device flies autonomously and moves to the inspection location, on the basis of the input into the user interface device and the current location of the mobile robot device. The mobile robot device inspects the inspection location using an inspection means such as a sounding means.
