Detachable endoscope
A detachable endoscope includes an insertion unit including an illuminating and image pickup unit, an operation unit configured to bendingly operate a front end of the insertion unit, and a detachable unit configured to detachably couple the insertion unit and the operation unit to each other, wherein the detachable unit includes: a first detachable module disposed at the insertion unit; and a second detachable module disposed at the operation unit, wherein the first detachable module includes: a first module main body disposed within a rear end of the insertion unit and having first, second, third and fourth rectilinear guide through-bores penetratingly formed longitudinally therein, and a central opening penetratingly formed at a center of the main body in a thickness direction of the main body.
Processor for endoscope and endoscopic system
One of two connector receiving parts of a processor for endoscope has a shutter mechanism configured to open a shutter by an external force, the shutter having a gap through which a connector-side connection end section passes, and being configured to partition a recessed space of the connector receiving part with respect to an outside. In addition, the processor for endoscope includes a lock mechanism configured to make the shutter into the locked state during a period when another connection end section on the connector side and a processor-side connection end section are connected, and release the locked state of the shutter when the connection between the other connection end section on the connector side and the processor-side connection end section is released.
DIRECT WIRE ATTACHMENT METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR A BGA COMPONENT
An electrical device that includes a ball grid array (BGA) component, comprising signal processing circuitry, a component mounting surface, and a BGA, which has solder balls that are spaced apart from each other on the component mounting surface. The electrical device also includes a plurality of electrical wires, each electrically coupled directly to a corresponding one of the solder balls of the BGA component. The electrical device further includes a wire fixation element, through which the plurality of electrical wires at least partially pass through. The wire fixation element is coupled to the plurality of electrical wires and configured to fix the electrical wires relative to each other so that the electrical wires do not move relative to each other.
Medical image pickup apparatus
A camera head includes an airtight case which includes an image pickup unit having an image pickup device and the like as a heat source in an inner portion and includes a partition wall to secure air-tightness with respect to an outside of the airtight case, a heat transfer sheet which connects the heat source and an inner surface of the partition wall to transfer heat generated at the heat source to the partition wall, a heat sink arranged on an outer side of the partition wall of the airtight case, and a spring member which is interposed between an outer surface corresponding to the inner surface of the partition wall of the airtight case connected to the heat transfer sheet and the heat sink to transfer heat from the outer surface of the partition wall to the heat sink.
COMPACT MULTI-VIEWING ELEMENT ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM
The present specification is directed towards endoscopes, such as colonoscopes, that provide a broader field of view and allow extended access of surgical tools and also enable efficient packing of all necessary elements in the tip section, while maintaining their functionality. Also described are methods and systems for capturing and displaying still and video images using an endoscope corresponding to a left-side looking, a front-looking and a right-side looking viewing element of an endoscopic tip generated in a native aspect ratio.
IMAGING MODULE, ENDOSCOPE, AND CATHETER
An imaging module includes: a planar light emitter that includes a light-emitting face and a light-emitter terminal; a power supply cable that is connected to the light-emitter terminal and that supplies electric power to the planar light emitter; a solid-state image sensing device that captures an image of an illumination object that is irradiated with light emitted from the light-emitting face; a coaxial cable that is electrically connected to the solid-state image sensing device; a light shield that is disposed between the solid-state image sensing device and the planar light emitter; and a light guide that guides light emitted from the light-emitting face to an outside of the imaging module. The planar light emitter, the solid-state image sensing device, part of the light shield, and the light guide constitute a rigid portion of the imaging module.
BOOT-ATTACHED CABLE AND MEDICAL DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE
A boot-attached cable is composed of a cable, and a cable boot secured to an end of the cable by an adhesive layer. The adhesive layer includes an additive material comprising at least one of an organic substant and an inorganic substance, capable of shielding against ultraviolet light.
PROXIMAL CONNECTOR FOR MEDICAL IMAGER
An imaging catheter includes a shaft extending along a longitudinal axis between a proximal end and a distal end, a plug at the proximal end, and an imaging sensor at the distal end. The plug includes electrical terminals oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The imaging sensor includes an infrared transmitter and an infrared receiver.
Intravascular ultrasound imaging
An extension cable is adapted for use in an intravascular ultrasound system. It has a first connector, for connecting to a catheter and a second connector for connecting to a patient interface module. A cable arrangement provides power transmission, data transmission and data signal processing (amplification or regeneration) between the first and second connectors. The extension cable enables sterility to be maintained in a workflow in a time efficient and easy manner as the catheter to extension cable connection may remain in a sterile environment.
MEDICAL POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
A medical power supply includes a medical instrument and a guide tube. The power receiving member is arranged radially outside the insertion portion, and when the insertion portion is inserted into the guide tube to a predetermined length such that the power transmitting member and the power receiving member are close to each other, a power transmitting side proximal end surface of the power transmitting member and a power receiving side distal end surface of the power receiving member face each other in an axial direction of the insertion portion and are in a positional relationship such that wireless power supply is possible.
