MAGNETIC CONNECTOR FOR STEERABLE MEDICAL DEVICE
In a robot-assisted steerable medical device, such as a catheter, a magnetic connector hub is configured to establish mechanical and magnetic connection between a drive cable and an actuator, or between multiple modules in a single insert-and-twist motion. The connector hub creates a magnetic breakaway feature for automatically decoupling the actuator from the drive cable, while the catheter remains attached. This prevents damage to the catheter/tool and/or patient when an excessive force is applied, and adds a safety element and helps protect the patient. And when the breakaway occurs the system can be automatically reengaged catheter without damage, so that normal operation can resume. Connection can also be broken at any point in the operation based on threshold forces or emergency situations.
NAVIGATION SYSTEM FOR ABLATION CATHETERS
A surgical system includes a bronchoscope, an extended working channel defining an elongated passageway and adapted to extend through the bronchoscope, and a valve in fluid communication with the passageway of the extended working channel. The surgical system further includes an elongated surgical instrument configured and dimensioned to be inserted through the extended working channel. During operation, a fluid is able to flow from the valve and through the extended working channel such that the fluid travels within an annular area surrounding the elongated surgical instrument positioned within the extended working channel.
ENDOSCOPE REPROCESSOR, ENDOSCOPE CLEANING TUBE, AND ENDOSCOPE REPROCESSING UNIT
An endoscope reprocessor includes: a connector to which an endoscope is connected; a fluid supplying section that supplies fluid to the connector; an electromagnet arranged at the connector and including a magnetic material and a coil wound around the magnetic material; a current supplying section; a magnetic force switching portion configured to switch a strength of a magnetic force to at least one of a first strength and a second strength weaker than the first strength; and a control section configured to switch the strength of the magnetic force by controlling the magnetic force switching portion while driving the fluid supplying section.
HYBRID APPARATUS FOR FLUID SUPPLY FOR ENDOSCOPIC IRRIGATION AND LENS CLEANING
A hybrid apparatus for delivery of fluid in connection with endoscopic irrigation and lens cleaning including a connector which is adaptable to a flexible or rigid container, a connector arranged at the end thereof and connected via a tubing supply to a fluid, air and or gas source and to an endoscope during a procedure.
DISPOSABLE ENDOSCOPE CANNULA
The present invention relates to a disposal endoscope cannula, and more particularly, to a disposable endoscope cannula which can prevent infection caused by reuse by manufacturing a disposable cannula required for an endoscope for a joint, and provides a disposable endoscope cannula constituted by an intubation part formed in a predetermined length and inserted into a human body; a binding part connected in the rear of the intubation part and fastened to a trocar part or a scope part to be detachable; a fluid flow-in and out part mounted on an outer peripheral surface at a front side of the binding part in order to input or discharge a fluid through the insertion part; and the trocar part fastened to the binding part and inserted through the intubation part.
ENDOSCOPE
An endoscope according to the present invention includes an elongated insertion section that is inserted into a subject, an attachment portion that is provided on the insertion section, and to which a circular cylindrical external appliance is attached, and a locking member that is disposed on a more distal end side of the insertion section than the attachment portion, and that prevents removal of the external appliance from the insertion section by abutting against a surface, of the external appliance, facing a distal end.
ENDOSCOPE FLEXIBLE TUBE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ENDOSCOPE FLEXIBLE TUBE
An endoscope flexible tube according to the present invention includes: a spiral tube configured such that a belt-like plate is spirally wound; an inner cylindrical member disposed inside an end part of the spiral tube; and an outer cylindrical member that is disposed outside the end part of the spiral tube, and holds the end part of the spiral tube between the inner cylindrical member and the outer cylindrical member. The inner cylindrical member has an outer diameter that is set larger than an inner diameter of the spiral tube, and the end part of the spiral tube is deformed to enlarge the inner diameter of the end part, and is externally fitted to the inner cylindrical member.
ENDOSCOPE HANDPIECE
An endoscope handpiece and system may include an angle of view selector, a depressible button, which may be connected to a lock disposed within a port of the endoscopic handpiece. The system may further provide an endoscope, which may be connected to the handpiece via the port and locked in place by the lock.
ROTATABLE STABILIZER FOR USE OF CATHETER INSIDE AN ENDOSCOPE
An instrument positioning mechanism includes a mounting position (125) on a medical device having a channel configured to permit an instrument (104) to pass therethrough. An instrument support (146) is configured to support a length of the instrument. A pivotal connection (150) is configured to rotatably adjust an angle between the support and the mounting position.
ENDOSCOPE
An endoscope includes a control body, an insertion tube, a bending section, and an angulation drive assembly. The control body includes a first body and a second body. The first body includes a first stepped interface having a first upper surface, a second upper surface, and a first intermediate surface. The second body is coupled to the first body and includes a second stepped interface having a first lower surface, a second lower surface, and a second intermediate surface. The bending section is secured to the insertion tube. The angulation drive assembly is coupled to the bending section and is operable to articulate the bending section. When the first body and the second body are connected to each other, the first lower surface abuts against the first upper surface, the second lower surface abuts against the second upper surface, and the first intermediate surface abuts against the second intermediate surface.
