IMPROVED ASSAY COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS
This disclosure provides improved assays and assay methods that include compositions comprising enzymes, such as ALP, conjugated to an antigen or antibody, as well as compositions that include enzyme substrates, wherein the compositions are optimized and adapted to provide improved assay performance. The disclosure also describes compositions of matter and kits that comprise the compositions for use in immunoassays.
COMPOSITION, AQUEOUS SOLUTION OF ENDOCRINE PROTEIN, ADSORPTION INHIBITOR, METHOD FOR SUPPRESSING ADSORPTION OF ENDOCRINE PROTEIN, METHOD FOR MEASURING AMOUNT OF ENDOCRINE PROTEIN, AND REAGENT KIT FOR MEASURING ENDOCRINE PROTEIN
An object of the present invention is to provide a composition in which adsorption of an endocrine protein to a container is suppressed in a solution obtained by dissolving the composition in a solvent, an aqueous solution of an endocrine protein in which adsorption of an endocrine protein to a container is suppressed, an adsorption inhibitor in which adsorption of an endocrine protein to a container is suppressed, a method for suppressing adsorption, a method for measuring an amount of an endocrine protein using the composition or the aqueous solution as a standard sample, and a kit including the composition or the aqueous solution. According to the present invention, there are provided a composition containing an endocrine protein and at least two compounds selected from the group consisting of a fluorine-containing surfactant, a collagen peptide, and a milk protein; an aqueous solution containing water, an endocrine protein, and at least two compounds selected from the group consisting of the above-described surfactant, a collagen peptide, and a milk protein; an adsorption inhibitor; a method for suppressing adsorption; a method for measuring an amount of an endocrine protein; and a kit.
ASSAY DEVICE
The present invention provides assay devices and methods for detecting the presence of an analyte in a sample. Devices according to the invention include a reagent zone, one or more capture zones and a detection zone. Capture zones can reduce the quantity of labelled conjugate that reaches the detection zone in the presence of a negative marker in the sample and/or in the absence of a positive marker in the sample, facilitating high sensitivity and proves specificity testing.
PROCESS OF PREPARING A MACROPOROUS HYDROGEL, AND IMPLEMENTATIONS THEREOF
The present disclosure discloses a process for preparing a macroporous hydrogel using spinodal decomposition technique. The present disclosure provides a macroporous hydrogel and a macroporous hydrogel sensor. Further, the present disclosure provides a method of detecting an analyte in a sample using the macroporous hydrogel sensor, and a point of care kit comprising the macroporous hydrogel sensor.
DEVICE, METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DIAGNOSING, MONITORING AND PREDICTING CHRONIC HEALTH CONDITIONS THROUGH URINE BIOMARKERS
A device, system and method for measuring and monitoring analyte concentrations in urine. The device is a cassette comprising two or more hormone or metabolite fluorometric or colorimetric assays, one of which can quantify urine dilution or concentration relative to population standards. The cassette can accommodate multiple lateral flow and/or dry chemistry assays, wherein the fluorometric or colorimetric results are readable quantitatively by a countertop or handheld reader and the results are normalized by the urine concentration measurement. In preferred embodiments, the analytes relate to symptoms of menopausal transition and have dynamic ranges sufficient to handle the known analyte fluctuations during such transition.
