CATHETER SYSTEMS WITH IMAGING ASSEMBLIES
A catheter system comprises an elongate catheter body including a distal end, a cannulation lumen extending through the catheter body and terminating at the distal end of the catheter body, and a steering element extending through the catheter body for steering the distal end. The catheter system also comprises an imaging element secured to a distal end portion of the catheter body and configured to obtain optical images of an area located distally of the distal end of the catheter body. The catheter body includes a ridge extending axially along an outer surface of the distal end portion, wherein a width of the ridge measured about a circumference of the catheter body is less than a length of the ridge measured along the longitudinal axis, and the imaging element is radially aligned with the ridge with at least a portion of the imaging element disposed within the ridge.
CAMERA MODULE AND ENDOSCOPE
The present disclosure relates to the field of optical technologies and provides a camera module and an endoscope. The camera module includes: a connecting base, including a first connecting member and a first circuit board; wherein the first circuit board is installed in the first connecting member; and a camera, including a housing, a second circuit board, a light source assembly, and a lens assembly; wherein the second circuit board, the light source assembly, and the lens assembly are respectively installed in the housing; the housing is removably connected to the first connecting member; the first circuit board and the second circuit board are electrically connected to each other.
ORIFICE INSPECTION SYSTEM
A system for inspecting a patient's orifice (especially the ear, nose or throat), to components of the system, and to methods of inspecting a patient's orifice. In one embodiment, the orifice inspection system includes: an orifice inspection device for illuminating a patient's orifice; and an image capture device for capturing a photograph of the patient's orifice as illuminated by the orifice inspection device; wherein the orifice inspection device is mountable relative to the image capture device, or wherein the image capture device is mounted on the orifice inspection device.
Apparatus of Medical Endoscope Using Mipi Serializer/Deserializer
An apparatus of serializer/deserializer is provided. The apparatus comprises a holding unit and a capture unit. The holding unit connects to the capture unit through a coaxial cable, and comprises a disposable image-capture module, a synthetic-image module (L/R montage), a Mipi serializer, a Mipi deserializer, a Mipi capture card, and a capture device. Thus, the apparatus keeps the most expensive ISP and capture device at a back end; and puts the disposable image-capture module, the synthetic-image module, and the Mipi serializer at a front end. After use, it is only necessary to discard the disposable image-capture module, which extends into human body at the front end. The remaining parts are reused. Thus, cost is effectively reduced and the shortcoming of high cost of the use of modern disposable endoscope is solved.
Endoscope tip attachment device
Embodiments of the disclosure include an endoscope tip assembly for use on an endoscope, during procedures. The endoscope tip assembly may include a base configured to receive an endoscope tip configured to not disengage from the endoscope tip during a procedure. The endoscope tip assembly may also include a plurality of struts which is connected by a webbing, may fold flat during insertion, and may assume a balloon-like shape during withdrawal.
HYBRID ENDOSCOPE WITH ROTARY DRUM FOR STERILE MEDICAL APPLICATIONS
Hybrid endoscope, in particular for sterile medical applications, wherein the endoscope comprises a receiving device for an imaging system and a shaft tube, wherein the receiving device is arranged, in a mounted state, on a distal end of the shaft tube. The endoscope is divided into at least two sub-assemblies, wherein a first sub-assembly comprises at least the receiving device, the imaging system and preferably a supply line of the imaging system as re-usable parts, and a second sub-assembly comprises at least the shaft tube as a part for single use, wherein the two sub-assemblies are able to be brought into releasable operative connection by means of an interface.
In-vivo camera device and in-vivo monitoring camera system
An in-vivo camera device and an in-vivo monitoring camera system more excellent in usability are proposed. An in-vivo camera device includes a camera unit introduced into a body, a support member, and a camera-side cable. The support member has a trocar connection portion for connection with a trocar at a front end side, and is connected to the trocar in a state in which the trocar connection portion is fitted into the trocar by applying tensile force to the camera-side cable passing through the trocar. The support member is provided with a guide introduction portion that is formed to be relatively long at the front end side as a stabilization structure for stabilizing connection with the trocar.
OPTICAL COUPLER FOR AN ENDOSCOPE
Companion and accessory devices for endoscopes are provided that include an optical coupler. The optical coupler comprises an attachment section comprising one or more elastic material(s) and dimensioned to be removably attached to a distal end of the endoscope and a visualization section in contact with the attachment section and at least partially surrounds a distal surface of the endoscope. The visualization section is configured to allow transmission of an optical image therethrough. The coupler further includes one or more supporting elements extending away from the attachment section or the visualization section for maintaining the endoscope substantially within the center of a body lumen as the endoscope advances therethrough.
AN ENDOSCOPE HAVING A LIGHT EMITTING MEANS AND IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE PROVIDED ON THE DISTAL END PORTION
The invention relates to an endoscope having a distal end portion, at which a light emitting means and an image pickup device are arranged, wherein, at the distal end portion, a light incidence region is defined at the outer circumference of the distal end portion. The longitudinal axis of the image pickup device is oriented towards the light incidence region at the outer circumference of the distal end portion.
