The present invention discloses an oral scanner, including an outer casing, a reflector, a heat source, an optical module and a forced convection element. The outer casing has a cavity. The reflector is located at the front end of the cavity. The heat source is located in the outer casing. The optical module is located in the casing. A heat channel is formed between the optical module and the outer casing. The forced convection element is disposed in the heat channel and configured to forcedly dissipate the waste heat of the heat source to the cavity to heat the reflector. Thus, the temperature of the heat source can be reduced, and vapor will not be generated on the reflector heated by the waste heat.

Self-Cleaning Dental Mirror

A cleaning tool is attachable to a dental air-water syringe tip. The tool has a frame which supports a mirrored surface. tool grip is attached to the frame, and includes a resilient body and a channel extending through the body. The channel is sized smaller than a diameter of the syringe tip. A support arm connects the frame and the tool grip, and the frame and the tool grip are each connected to the support arm at a predetermined angle which causes there to be a predetermined angle between a longitudinal axis of the channel, and thus the output of the tool tip, and the mirror surface.

Multi-purpose dental instrument

A dental instrument system has an optical component with a mirror for the dental practitioner to view a patient's mouth. A light source and an airflow source have a plurality of output levels that are controlled by a user input on the handle, such as a single button. The output levels of the light and airflow are controlled by a single or double click, wherein a single click increases the output level of the airflow and a double click increases the output level of the light, for example. The light source illuminates the mirror and the airflow source produces airflow over the mirror to remove debris and bodily fluid. A clearing flow of air may be initiated by holding the single button down on the handle and release of the button may return the airflow to the previous level.
