SLIT LAMP MICROSCOPE
A slit lamp microscope according to an embodiment of the present technology includes an illumination optical system, an imaging optical system, and a display unit. The illumination optical system emits slit light toward an eye to be examined. The imaging optical system images light reflected by the eye to be examined. The display unit has a display surface that displays a captured image obtained by imaging the eye to be examined, in which a relationship that a direction perpendicular to the display surface is parallel to a predetermined surface direction including an imaging direction of the imaging optical system is maintained. Accordingly, a novel operation can be performed.
Ophthalmic apparatus, and recording medium storing ophthalmic apparatus controlling program
Provided is an ophthalmic apparatus for examining an examinee's eye, including: an examination device configured to examine the examinee's eye; an approacher in the examination device, configured to approach the examinee; a detector configured to detect approach of the approacher to the examinee; and a controller configured to switch an operation mode between a first mode where an avoidance operation for avoiding the approach is performed and a second mode where the avoidance operation is not performed, upon the detector detecting the approach.
Systems and methods for automated subjective self-refraction
Systems and methods for allowing a user with no prior training to receive automated vision measurements without assistance of another individual by using subjective inputs from a user, which may be supplemented by a predictive method. The predictive method comprising artificial intelligence, patient data, user inputs, automated inputs from cameras and the like. The system may make use of a specific algorithm, decision tree, set of instructions, programming instructions, and the like, in order to provide vision measurements. The system combines programming instructions executed by a processor, output devices, input controls, and a plurality of corrective lenses to find a patient or user's vision measurements.
VISION SCREENING DEVICE, VISION IMPAIRMENT SCREENING SYSTEM, IMPROVED VISION SCREENING PROCESS, METHOD OF ASSESSMENT, AND METHOD OF USE
A vision screening device, a vision screening system, a vision impairment screening device, vision impairment screening system, processes, method of assessments, and methods of use are presented. The present disclosure provides a vision screening system and device, including obtaining flash imagery in order to be used for analysis of visual function. More specifically, and without limitation, the present disclosure provides the state of the art with a system for attracting the gaze of a user and controlling accommodation for obtaining proper imagery as is needed for visual analysis. Furthermore, and without limitation, the present disclosure provides a vision system for capturing visual performance of a user.
Augmented reality pulse oximetry
One embodiment is directed to a system comprising a head-mounted member removably coupleable to the user's head; one or more electromagnetic radiation emitters coupled to the head-mounted member and configured to emit light with at least two different wavelengths toward at least one of the eyes of the user; one or more electromagnetic radiation detectors coupled to the head-mounted member and configured to receive light reflected after encountering at least one blood vessel of the eye; and a controller operatively coupled to the one or more electromagnetic radiation emitters and detectors and configured to cause the one or more electromagnetic radiation emitters to emit pulses of light while also causing the one or more electromagnetic radiation detectors to detect levels of light absorption related to the emitted pulses of light, and to produce an output that is proportional to an oxygen saturation level in the blood vessel.
Refraction devices
A refraction device includes a main body, a spherical power lens coupled to the main body, an astigmatic power lens movably coupled to the main body, and a visual display coupled to the main body and oriented toward an optical pathway extending through the spherical power lens and the astigmatic power lens. The visual display is configured to display an image for testing visual acuity.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CAPTURING, ANALYZING, AND SENDING STILL AND VIDEO IMAGES OF THE FUNDUS DURING EXAMINATION USING AN OPHTHALMOSCOPE
A medical imaging binocular indirect ophthalmoscope with computational processing unit, enabling simultaneous or time-delayed viewing and collaborative review of photographs or videos from an eye examination. The invention also claims a method for photographing and integrating information associated with the images, videos, or other data generated from the eye examination.
Artificial intelligence and/or virtual reality for activity optimization/personalization
Optimizing and/or personalizing activities to a user through artificial intelligence and/or virtual reality.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CAPTURING, ANALYZING, AND SENDING STILL AND VIDEO IMAGES OF THE FUNDUS DURING EXAMINATION USING AN OPHTHALMOSCOPE
The present invention is directed to a medical imaging binocular indirect ophthalmoscope with onboard sensor array and computational processing unit, enabling simultaneous or time-delayed viewing and collaborative review of photographs or videos from an eye examination. The invention also claims a method for photographing and integrating information associated with the images, videos, or other data generated from the eye examination.
VISION TESTING DEVICE
A small-sized head-mount type vision testing device, which is mounted on a testee's head, including: a display device that presents a visual target to an eyeball of the testee; a display optical system that guides light of the visual target presented on the device to the retina; an imaging device that images the eyeball; and an observation optical system that guides an image of the eyeball to the imaging device, and further including a mirror that reflects light of a specific wavelength and transmits the other light at a point closer to the eyeball side than the display device, wherein an optical axis from a pupil to the mirror in the display optical system and an optical axis from the pupil to the mirror in the observation optical system, coincide with each other, and the optical axes are bent through the mirror.
