Apparatus and method for processing battery cell voltage data
An apparatus and a method for processing battery cell voltage data, which calculate a moving average by assigning a weight to one or more voltage data acquired from the battery cell and reflect the acquired voltage data to the calculated moving average and use the voltage data to rapidly follow a sudden change of the voltage data applied from the battery cell.
Open circuit voltage measuring method, open circuit voltage measuring device, and recording medium recording program
To detect connection between a secondary battery and a charger, determine whether or not a state of the secondary battery is stabilized in a case of detecting the connection, measure a first open circuit voltage that is an open circuit voltage before charging of the secondary battery in a case of determining that a state of the secondary battery is stabilized, instruct the charger to start charging of the secondary battery, detect end of charging of the secondary battery, determine whether or not a state of the secondary battery is stabilized in a case of detecting end of charging of the secondary battery, measure a second open circuit voltage that is an open circuit voltage after charging of the secondary battery in a case of determining that a state of the secondary battery is stabilized, and notify the user of end of charging of the secondary battery.
Battery unit, flavor inhaler, method for controlling battery unit, and program for detecting degradation of a chargeable and dischargeable power supply of a battery unit of a vaporizor
A battery unit for a favor inhaler includes a chargeable and dischargeable power supply, a connection part capable of electrically connecting to an external charger, and a controller configured to perform control regarding at least the power supply, wherein when an accumulated value of a connection time period to the charger exceeds a first predetermined time period, the controller determines that the power supply has been degraded.

Software-configurable battery management systems and methods
Software-configurable battery monitoring and management systems and methods provide flexibility in selecting the location where the highest voltage in a block of cells is sensed so as to support control boards to connect to any number of cells. In certain embodiments, battery management is accomplished by measuring cell voltages in a block of cells in a battery stack, determining whether the battery stack comprises a bus bar, determining a sum of the individual cell voltages, and comparing the voltage at the top of a battery stack, including any bus bar, to the sum of the individual cell voltages to obtain a comparison result that may be used to perform a diagnostic procedure.

BATTERY CHARGING CONTROL METHOD AND DEVICE
This application provides a battery charging control method and device. Voltages of N cell units in an M.sup.th sampling period are obtained, and a voltage of the battery at each sampling moment among K sampling moments in said sampling period is calculated. Charging of the battery is stopped when the voltage of the battery increases monotonically in the M.sup.th sampling period and a trend of a fitting curve of the voltage of at least one cell unit among the N cell units in said sampling period is not rising.

Traction battery pack thermal event detection
A method of detecting a thermal event associated with a battery assembly of an electrified vehicle includes, among other things, obtaining a temperature reading from a sensor associated with an area of the battery assembly, assessing whether the sensor is flagged with a first identifier or a second identifier. The first identifier indicates that the temperature reading is reliable. The second identifier indicates that the temperature reading is unreliable. If the sensor is flagged with the first identifier, the method detects a thermal event associated with the battery assembly based on the temperature reading from the sensor.
