A system for recognizing the location of a subject, comprises a server, signal transceivers, and a tracking device. The server transmits a request and stores a map file. The signal transceivers respectively communicate with the server to receive the request, and broadcast a reference signal to the other signal transceivers. The tracking device bidirectionally communicates with the signal transceivers, and periodically sends a tracking signal. After each of the signal transceivers obtains the first received signal strength indicator corresponding to the received reference signal and the second received signal strength indicator corresponding to the received tracking signal, each transmits the first signal strength indicator and the second signal strength indicator to the server. The server determines relative position information for the at least one tracking device within the map file according to the first signal strength indicators, the second signal strength indicators, and location information from the signal transceivers

A first node receives first configuration information; transmits a first positioning reference signal on a first time-frequency resource block, transmits a second positioning reference signal on a second time-frequency resource block, and transmits a first information set; the first configuration information is used for indicating a first reference set, and any two time-frequency resource blocks in the first resource set employ a same positioning-related parameter; the first time-frequency resource block is earlier than the second time-frequency resource block in time domain; the first information set comprises a first distance, and the first distance refers to a distance from a first geographical position and a second geographical position, wherein the first geographical position is where the first node is located when transmitting the first positioning reference signal. The present disclosure provides an effective solution to the issue of sidelink positioning.
WIRELESS LOCATION SYSTEM
A system and methods for estimating the location of a mobile device are disclosed. In accordance with one embodiment, a mobile device receives a wireless electromagnetic signal and an ultrasound signal from a first beacon during a first occurrence of a time slot. The mobile device further receives a wireless electromagnetic signal and an ultrasound signal from a second beacon during a second occurrence of the time slot, where the ultrasound signals from the first and second beacons have non-overlapping areas of coverage. The electromagnetic and ultrasound signals from the first beacon are used to estimate a first location of the mobile device, and the electromagnetic and ultrasound signals from the second beacon are used to estimate a second location of the mobile device.
Architectural drawing based exchange of geospatial related digital content
Apparatus and methods of artificial intelligent based provision of digital content where and when the digital content is needed based upon where a user is located and a purpose for accessing the content as well as credentials of a user seeking to access the digital content. Persistent digital content is linked to location coordinates. More specifically, the present invention links a physical onsite location with digital content to enable a user interface with augmented reality that combines aspects of the physical area with location specific digital content. In addition, access to digital content may be limited to users in defined access areas.
POSITION CALCULATION USING BLUETOOTH LOW ENERGY
A method comprises a first device: receiving at least one Bluetooth Low Energy message transmitted from each of at least three second devices, each Bluetooth Low Energy message including data indicating a position of the respective second device (S2); measuring a radio parameter for each of the received Bluetooth Low Energy messages (S3); using the radio parameters and the data included in the messages to calculate the position of the first device (S4); and transmitting a Bluetooth Low Energy message including data indicating the position of the first device (S5). A further method comprises a third device: receiving at least one Bluetooth Low Energy message transmitted from each of at least three devices, each Bluetooth Low Energy message including data indicating a position of the respective device; measuring a radio parameter for each of the received Bluetooth Low Energy messages; using the radio parameters and the data included in the messages to calculate the position of the third device; receiving at least one Bluetooth Low Energy message transmitted by a first device and including data indicating a position of the first device; and causing display of the position of the first device relative to the third device.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING POSITIONING REFERENCE SIGNAL IN WIRELESS ACCESS SYSTEM SUPPORTING MACHINE TYPE COMMUNICATION
The present invention provides methods for configuring and transmitting a positioning reference signal (PRS) used for estimating the location of a machine type communication (MTC) terminal in a wireless access system supporting machine type communication (MTC), and an apparatus for supporting the same. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for transmitting, by a base station, a positioning reference signal (PRS) used for estimating the location of a machine type communication (MTC) terminal in a wireless access system supporting MTC, comprises the steps of: repeating transmission of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) including the same downlink data N times; and transmitting the PRS in a PRS subframe (SF), wherein when the PRS SF consists of a normal subframe (SF) and a multimedia broadcast multicast service single frequency network (MBSFN) SF, a normal cyclic prefix (CP) is used as a CP to be applied to the PRS, and when the PRS SF consists of only the MBSFN SF, a CP applied to the PRS may be an extended CP.
Timing advance (TA) handling for sidelink (SL)-assisted positioning
Timing advance (TA) handling for sidelink (SL)-assisted positioning of a first user equipment (UE), comprises determining the first UE is configured to transmit an SL positioning reference signal (SL-PRS) to a second UE for the SL-assisted positioning. A guard period length can be determined based on a configuration of the first UE for transmitting the SL-PRS, where the guard period may comprise a period of time during which the SL-PRS is transmitted by the first UE. A message can be sent to a serving transmission reception point (TRP) of the first UE, where the message indicates the guard period and comprises a TA-related request. The TA-related request includes a request to postpone applying a TA command received by the first UE until after the guard period, or a request for the serving TRP not to send a TA command to the first UE during the guard period.

A method that may be performed by a UE includes obtaining map information regarding, at least, one or more reflectors in an environment including at least the UE and another node, detecting at least one positioning reference signal (PRS) transmission that travels one or more non line-of-sight (NLOS) transmission paths in the environment, and participating in a positioning procedure that estimates a position of the UE based, at least in part, on the at least one PRS transmission that travels the one or more NLOS transmission paths and the map information.
Deployable navigation beacons
Deployable navigation beacons can be deployed from a vehicle, such as an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), in an event of a loss of position or orientation of the vehicle. After deployment of the navigation beacons, the vehicle may detect locations of the navigation beacon, which may define a surface that may include surface features. The vehicle may then perform control operations based on the resolved locations. For example, UAV may maneuver to land proximate to the navigation beacons after resolving locations of the navigation beacons as a continuous surface. The navigation beacons may output a visual signal (e.g., a light), a auditory signal (e.g., a sound), and/or a radio signal. In some embodiments, each navigation beacon may include a different or unique signal.
