UPGRATED FLIGHT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR AUTOPILOT CONTROL AND METHOD OF PROVIDING THE SAME
A preexisting FMS system may be upgraded to increase its functionality by optimizing the control of autopilot and auto-throttle functions and replacing other preexisting components with different components for enhancing the functionality of the FMS system. The preexisting IRU, CADC, DME receiver and DFGC in the upgraded FMS system are in communication with the legacy AFMC but, instead of employing the legacy EFIS, the EFIS is replaced by a data concentrator unit as well as the display control panel and integrated flat panel display, and a GPS receiver. The upgraded FMS system is capable of iteratively controlling the autopilot and auto-throttle during all phases of flight and of such increased functionality as increased navigation database storage capacity, RNP, VNAV, LPV and RNAV capability utilizing a GPS based navigation solution, and RTA capability, while still enabling the legacy AFMC to exploit its aircraft performance capabilities throughout the flight.
Object tracking and data aggregation in panoramic video
Methods and systems for real-time object tracking and data aggregation in panoramic video are disclosed. An example method provides receiving, at a first device, panoramic video data of at least one asset derived from at least one panoramic video camera; receiving tracking data related to the at least one asset from a tracking system; augmenting the panoramic video data by embedding it with the tracking data; and streaming the augmented panoramic video data over a network connection to at least one other device. Other methods and systems are disclosed.
System for assisting the orientation of an antenna of a beacon with regard to a target position
A system for assisting the positioning, in particular the orientation, with regard to a target position, of an antenna of a beacon intended to be in communication link by radio signal with a transmitter/receiver device, the system including a system for representation of a lobe of the radiation pattern of the antenna of the beacon on a projection surface of an environment in which said beacon is intended to be installed, and a system for measuring a distance separating the beacon and at least one point on the projection surface corresponding to the target position or positions.
WORKING VEHICLE AND ATTACHMENT USAGE SYSTEM
A controller is configured or programmed to cause a first memory to store, for a period of time, piece(s) of identification information included in wireless signal(s) transmitted from transmitter(s) in or on attachment(s) and received by a receiver in or on a working vehicle, when one of the attachment(s) is attached to a hitch, select a piece of identification information of the attachment attached to the hitch from the piece(s) of identification information stored in the first memory and start a predetermined process according to the selected piece of identification information, and even if the receiver receives wireless signal(s) before the attachment is allowed to be detached from the hitch, continue to perform the predetermined process without performing selection of a piece of identification information again.
RFID tag search method, non-transitory storage medium storing RFID tag search program, and RFID tag search device
A method to be executed by a user terminal for searching for locations of one or more wireless devices that are located within an area in which the one or more wireless devices can wirelessly communicate with the user terminal, wherein each of the one or more wireless devices periodically transmits a beacon signal. The method includes detecting a number of the one or more wireless devices that are located within the area based on the beacon signals; determining a transmission period for transmitting the beacon signals depending on the number of the one or more wireless devices; and instructing the one or more wireless devices that are located within the area to transmit the beacon signals in accordance with the determined transmission period.
Systems and method for closed loop tracking of hand hygiene compliance
An apparatus for tracking hand hygiene in a bathroom includes at least a radio and a controller. The radio is configured to receive a direct connection probe from a mobile device. The controller is configured to receive sensor data associated with hand hygiene and match the sensor data associated with hand hygiene with an identifier for the mobile device based on the direction connection probe to determine whether a hand hygiene threshold is met.
System, Apparatus and Methods for Localization of Actual Dipole Field Positions
A locator includes a yaw sensor for measuring a yaw orientation of the locator and a triaxial antenna for receiving a dipole electromagnetic signal to generate flux components. A processor generates a relative yaw orientation characterizing a difference between the yaw orientation of the walkover locator and a reference yaw orientation of the transmitter and determines an actual position of at least one of the locate points relative to the walkover locator based on at least one measured set of the flux components, the relative yaw orientation and the measured pitch orientation of the transmitter. The locator can measure GPS positions of locate points at least for use in identifying an overhead position. Selected combinations of various positions and features relative to the transmitter and locator can be shown in isometric views. The locator can be configured for automatic switching between locating modes based on proximity to a plane of symmetry.
SYSTEM, METHOD, COMPUTER PROGRAM AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
The present invention relates to a system for determining the position, the orientation and/or the movement of a beacon, said system comprising at least one receiver and one beacon, the beacon comprising a transmitter, the transmitter of the beacon being designed to emit electromagnetic waves in a frequency band and the receiver having means which are designed to receive the waves and to determine a position, orientation and/or movement of the beacon therefrom, the system having at least one further beacon, the frequency band of the transmitter of the further beacon or the frequency bands of the transmitters of the further beacons differing from the frequency band of the transmitter of the beacon.
POSITIONING PROCEDURE BASED ON ELECTRONIC SHELF LABEL (ESL) NETWORK
In an aspect, a method of operating a processing device includes obtaining location information of a target device, transmission time information of first one or more beacons transmitted by the target device, or transmission channel information of the first one or more beacons; and configuring a first set of electronic shelf label (ESL) devices to perform a targeted scanning operation based on the location information, the transmission time information, or the transmission channel information. The method of operating the processing device further includes receiving one or more targeted scanning reports from the first set of ESL devices based on the targeted scanning operation, and engaging in a positioning procedure for determining an estimated location of the target device based on the one or more targeted scanning reports.
