A method and apparatus for receiving signals from an unknown transmitting source and providing the location of the unknown transmitting source comprising a series of channels for receiving signals radiated by the unknown transmitting sources, generating preprocessed time domain data and generating a SAR image depicting a location of the unknown transmitting source, and a processor for processing the preprocessed time domain data to enhance a pixel value at each pixel location within the SAR image by summing signal data from each channel related to each pixel location to generate an enhanced SAR image.

Apparatus and method for representing user information received by an antenna apparatus with a directional characteristic

The invention relates to an apparatus for representing user information including an antenna apparatus, a processing apparatus and a representation apparatus. The antenna apparatus receives signals of a transmitter in a scene with at least one directional characteristic relating to spatially different receive sensitivities. Alternatively or additionally, the antenna apparatus sends signals with at least one directional characteristic into a scene and receives signals of a transmitter from the scene. The processing apparatus processes the received signals with respect to the scene and determines representation data represented by the representation apparatus. Further, the invention relates to a respective method.

System for determining user interactions with items on a fixture

A floor device generates output data indicative of the presence of objects, such as feet of users, on the floor device. The output data from the floor device is processed to determine an object representation at a given time. The object representation may then be associated with a user identifier based on characteristics or features of the object representation. If a location of a user associated with the user identifier is determined to be near a fixture that stores one or more items, changes in quantity of items at the fixture may be associated with the user. For example, sensors on the fixture may generate fixture data indicative of a pick or place of items on the fixture. Based on the location of the user being near the fixture and the fixture data, interaction data may be generated indicating the user interacting with the items at the fixture.

DIRECTED ENERGY (DE) WEAPON AND PASSIVE MILLIMETER WAVE (PmmW) IMAGER FOR TARGET TRACKING
20210231413 · 2021-07-29 ·

A DE energy weapon and tracking system includes a passive millimeter wave (PmmW) imaging receiver on a common gimbaled telescope to sense natural electromagnetic radiation from a mmW scene. The PmmW imaging receiver operates in a portion of the electromagnetic spectrum distinct from the IR bands associated with thermal blooming or the HEL laser. In the case of a HPM source, the reflected energy is either in a different RF band and/or of diminished amplitude such as to not interfere with operation of the PmmW imaging receiver. Although lower resolution than traditional optical imaging, PmmW imaging provides a viable alternative for target tracking when the DE weapon is actively prosecuting the target and provides additional tracking information when the DE weapon is not engaged.

Radiovision device

This patent concerns a compact and portable system for real-time detection and location of electromagnetic emissions in the spectrum used by mobile devices (cell phones and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth devices). The principle of detection and location is based on phased array technology, which enables the synthesis of a directional radiation beam that can be electrically controlled in terms of both its shape and direction. This technology is used primarily in military and astronomical applications. The device also includes localization and control algorithms. This device will allow for detecting and locating electromagnetic emissions by means of an antenna beam scan within a field of view of 80×80 degrees. Once the detection and location have been established, the results are overlaid to a visual image captured by a video camera.
