Examples of the disclosure relate to apparatus, electronic devices, methods and computer programs. The apparatus are configured to obtain at least a first audio signal and a second audio signal wherein the first audio signal and the second audio signal are captured by a microphone array including at least two microphones. The apparatus are also configured to identify at least a first direction and at least a second direction. The first and second directions are identified for a plurality of frequency bands. The first direction and the second direction are identified by using delay parameters between at least the first audio signal and the second audio signal.
MATERIAL COATING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A material coating system for an apparatus having a housing configured to contain a fluid is disclosed herein. A multi-layer coating is applied to the housing to mitigate damage caused by external factors. The multi-layer coating includes: a layer of a primer coating having anti-corrosive properties, a layer of a mid coating having mechanical and chemical properties capable of at least partially closing a hole in the housing to avoid fluid leakage and optionally a layer of a top coating having properties that resist ultraviolet radiation from passing therethrough.

A method for providing sound tracking information includes detecting a sound occurred adjacent to a subject vehicle to generate a sound tracking result based at least on a sound data regarding detected sound; determining an angle of point having the maximum probability among at least one of peak points in the sound tracking result as a first vehicle angle; determining whether an angle of candidate point is a second vehicle angle, wherein the candidate point has the maximum probability among peak points included in a detection range except for the first vehicle angle; and generating at least one detection signal corresponding to the first and the second vehicle angles, when the angle of candidate point is the second vehicle angle, wherein the sound tracking result includes a probability of whether there is at least one another vehicle at each of angles in each of frames continued according to time.

The disclosed embodiments disclose methods, apparatuses, systems, devices and computer-readable storage media for processing speech signals. The method comprises: acquiring a real-time image by using an image capturing device, performing facial recognition by using the real-time image, and detecting a period during which a target user makes speech sounds based on a facial recognition result; locating a sound source in an audio signal received by a microphone array, and determining the orientation information of a sound source in the audio signal; and based on the period during which the target user in the real-time image makes the speech sounds and the orientation information of the sound source, performing a speech sound start and end point analysis to determine start and end time points of the speech sounds in the audio signal. The method for processing speech signals according to one embodiment can perform voice activity detection to the speech signal in noisy environments containing multiple sources of interference, thereby improving the anti-interference capability of the system.

Systems and methods directed toward acoustic analysis can include an acoustic sensor array comprising a plurality of acoustic sensor elements, an electromagnetic imaging tool, and a processor in communication with the acoustic sensor array and the electromagnetic imaging tool. The processor can be configured to analyze acoustic data to extract one or more acoustic parameters representative of acoustic signals at one or more locations in an acoustic scene and generate a display image that includes electromagnetic image data and acoustic image data. The display image can further include information indicative of the one or more acoustic parameters at one or more locations in the acoustic scene, such as including acoustic image data in the display image at locations in the scene at which the one or more acoustic parameters satisfies a predetermined condition.

Acoustic signals from an acoustic event are captured via sensing nodes of sensor group(s) that comprise a group of sensing nodes at a location comprising spatial boundaries. Each of the sensing nodes comprise a sensor area. Each of the sensor group(s) is based on: range limits of each of the sensing nodes; shared sensing areas of the sensing nodes; and intersections between the sensor area for each of the sensing nodes and the spatial boundaries. Solutions(s) are generated by processing the acoustic signals. The solution(s) indicate the location of the acoustic event. A strength of solution compliance value for at least one of the solution(s) is determined. A refined solution is generated employing: sensor contributions of sensing nodes; and the strength of solution compliance value with the spatial boundaries and at least one of the solution(s). A report is created comprising the location of the acoustic event.
