The method includes steps of: dividing an activity space into a plurality of activity regions; selecting a plurality of positions in the activity space or within a distance range of the activity space as a plurality of base station candidate positions; predicting connection states between the plurality of base stations that are disposed respectively at the plurality of station candidate positions and a mobile robot moving to each of the plurality of activity regions; selecting some of the base station candidate positions as a plurality of base station positions according to the connection states; disposing the plurality of base stations respectively at the plurality of base station positions; and wirelessly connecting the mobile robot respectively moving to the plurality of activity regions to some of the plurality of base stations to position the mobile robot.

Each RF node has a physical node location in the space that is associated with the unique node identifier. The tag measures the received signal strength of each respective received signal that is associated with the node identifier of the RF node that transmitted the respective received signal. The strongest measured received signal strengths are selected, and a tuple containing the node identifiers for the selected strongest signal strengths is forwarded for estimating a location of the asset tag by a computing device.

The method comprises: obtaining a plurality of designated videos; determining a plurality of first image acquisition devices shot the designated videos; according to a preset intersection mode and for the first image acquisition devices: obtaining sets of unique identification information detected by WiFi detectors of the first image acquisition devices during a detection time interval respectively, and performing an intersection processing on the obtained sets of unique identification information to obtain an intersection set of unique identification information; determining the unique identification information of the WiFi terminal in the intersection set of unique identification information as unique identification information of the target person; obtaining image acquisition devices in which all WiFi detectors detected the unique identification information of the target person are located; determining track information of the target person based on locations of the image acquisition devices in which all the WiFi detectors are detected. In the embodiments of the present application, it does not need to analyze a large number of videos.

A method for geolocating a terminal of a wireless communication system from measurements of a parameter representative of a radio signal exchanged between the terminal and base stations of the communication system. The method uses fixed base stations and a mobile base station which is displaced in a determined search area. During a predefined search period, the terminal emits several radio signals to the fixed base stations and the mobile base station. A precise geographical position can then be determined, on the one hand, from the measurements carried out during the search period for the different base stations, and on the other hand, from the geographical positions of the fixed base stations and from the geographical positions of the mobile base station at the different times of emission of the radio signals by the terminal.
