A pulsed radar level gauge comprising a pulse generator configured to generate a transmit signal (S.sub.T) in the form of a pulse train, a propagation device connected to direct the transmit signal (S.sub.T) into a tank and return a microwave return signal (S.sub.R), a receiver, sampling circuitry configured to provide a time expanded tank signal, and processing circuitry for determining said filling level based on the time expanded tank signal. The gauge further comprises impedance increasing circuitry arranged to ensure that an input impedance of the receiver is at least 2 kΩ and a delay line arranged between said receiver and said propagation device, the delay line configured to introduce a delay greater than said pulse duration, such that said time expanded signal includes a transmitted pulse.

A communication device for estimating the azimuth angle includes a receiving module and an estimating module. The receiving module is configured to sequentially switch several azimuth angles to receive a first signal transmitted at the first transmitting angle from a first transmitting module of the first communication device. The estimation module is configured to calculate several signal powers of the first signal received by the receiving module at the several azimuth angles; to determine the maximum signal power among the several signal powers; to determine the pre-judged AOD according to the azimuth angle of the maximum signal; and to calculate the AOD of the associated first signal based on the pre-judged AOD and at least one azimuth angle adjacent to the pre-judged AOD among the several azimuth angles.

Six-port self-injection-locked radar

A six-port self-injection-locked (SIL) radar includes an oscillation element, an antenna element, a six-port frequency demodulation element and a signal processing element. Because of a coupler and a phase shifter of the six-port frequency demodulation element, the signal processing element can extract vibration information of subject by using only two demodulated signals output from the six-port frequency demodulation element. As a result, the operation frequency of the six-port SIL radar is not limited by hardware architecture, and the hardware costs and the power consumption are also reduced.

Six-port self-injection-locked radar

A six-port self-injection-locked (SIL) radar includes an oscillation element, an antenna element, a six-port frequency demodulation element and a signal processing element. Because of a coupler and a phase shifter of the six-port frequency demodulation element, the signal processing element can extract vibration information of subject by using only two demodulated signals output from the six-port frequency demodulation element. As a result, the operation frequency of the six-port SIL radar is not limited by hardware architecture, and the hardware costs and the power consumption are also reduced.

A frequency group of the two or more first carrier signals and a frequency group of the two or more second carrier signals are identical or substantially identical to each other, and the calculation unit calculates the distance between the first device and the second device based on a phase detection result obtained by receiving the first and second carrier signals.

Device and method for detecting oscillations of a regulated supply signal

The present disclosure relates to a detection circuit for detecting oscillations of a regulated supply signal. The detection circuit includes a filter circuit to filter the regulated supply signal in order to obtain a filtered supply signal. A peak value detector circuit is designed to detect an extremum of the filtered supply signal. A comparator circuit is designed to compare the detected extreme value with a threshold value and to indicate an understepping or exceedance of the threshold value.
