Radar signal generator
Various implementations described herein are directed to an apparatus having a transmit signal generator for a pulse compression radar. The transmit signal generator may include a frequency modulation stage with phase-lock-loop (PLL) circuitry configured to generate a transmit signal at antenna frequency. The transmit signal generator may include an amplitude modulation stage configured to shape an amplitude of the generated transmit signal.
Radar antenna device, and method for measuring direction
An inexpensive and compact antenna device having a direction measurement function is provided. A radar antenna device includes a radome, an antenna, and a magnetic direction measurement part. The antenna transmits and receives a radio wave while rotating inside the radome. The magnetic direction measurement part is accommodated in the radome, and measures a direction of the radar antenna device based on the detected magnetism.
WATERCRAFT STEERING SYSTEM AND WATERCRAFT
A watercraft steering system includes a reverse reduction transmission and an obstacle detector. The reverse reduction transmission is configured to convert power from a main engine into an output for causing a watercraft to make forward travel, neutral, or reverse travel, so as to control navigation of the watercraft. The obstacle detector is disposed at a hull of the watercraft and is configured to detect an obstacle. The watercraft steering system is configured to, based on a location of the obstacle with respect to the hull, a travel direction of the watercraft, a travel speed of the watercraft, and a distance between the hull and the obstacle, select from among the forward travel, the neutral, and the reverse travel, and maintain the travel speed or change the travel speed.
COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM, EVALUATION METHOD, AND EVALUATION DEVICE
A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium stores a program that causes a computer to execute a process. the process includes extracting a sailing log of a ship in a sea area with a sailing route existing therein, the sea area being such that a distance between two ships of the ship and another ship is less than a predetermined value and at least one of the two ships has a ship track deviating from the sailing route; and evaluating risks at a plurality of points that are included in the sea area, based on the extracted sailing log.
DOPPLER RADAR FLOCK DETECTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Techniques are disclosed for systems and methods to provide wildlife feeding flock detection using a remote sensing imagery system. A remote sensing imagery system includes a radar assembly mounted to a mobile structure and a coupled logic device. The logic device is configured to receive radar returns corresponding to a detected target, determine a radial velocity spectrum associated with the detected target based, at least in part, on the received radar returns, and determine a probability the detected target includes a feeding flock based, at least in part, on the determined radial velocity spectrum. The logic device may generate radar image data based on the received radar returns, the determined radial velocity spectrum, and/or the probability the detected target includes the feeding flock. Subsequent user input and/or the sensor data may be used to adjust a steering actuator, a propulsion system thrust, and/or other operational systems of the mobile structure.
Signal processing device and radar apparatus
A signal processing device is provided. The signal processing device processes reception signals received by an object detector that detects existence of objects. The signal processing device includes a coordinate detecting module configured to detect a plurality of sets of representative coordinates of each of two echo images at two or more timings, the two echo images obtained from the reception signals and caused by two target objects. The signal processing device also includes a determining module configured to determine, based on the plurality of sets of representative coordinates at the two or more timings, whether the two echo images are obtained from towing object signals caused by a pair of a towing object and a towed object.
Vehicle position validation
Methods and computer-readable media are described herein for providing an automated validation of vehicle positioning and corresponding error notification. According to various aspects, a first position of a vehicle may be determined using a first positioning system. A second position of the vehicle may be determined using a second positioning system. An offset between the first and second positions of the vehicle may be determined. If the offset exceeds a threshold offset, a notification may be provided to indicate a potential error in the position of the vehicle.
RADAR DEVICE AND RADAR IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD
A radar device comprises a transmitter, a receiver, a first radar image production component, a second radar image production component, a display component, and an echo width adjuster. The transmitter transmits a pulse signal. The receiver receives an echo signal during a transmission and reception period of the pulse signal. The first radar image production component produces a radar image of a first display range on the basis of the echo signal. The second radar image production component produces a radar image of a second display range that is wider than the first display range on the basis of the echo signal. The display component selectively or simultaneously displays the radar image of the first display range and the radar image of the second display range. The echo width adjuster adjusts pulse width of echo included in the radar images or the echo signal according to the display range of the radar image.
Data processing method and apparatus based on automatic identification system
The present invention discloses a data processing method and apparatus based on an automatic identification system, relates to the field of communications network technologies The method comprises: a virtual station container receives data request sent by a poller, and successively checks whether each virtual station in the virtual station container has to-be-sent data in a current timeslot, where the virtual station includes a virtual timeslot allocation logic TAL device; and when a first virtual station has to-be-sent data in the current timeslot, the virtual station container reads the data in the first virtual station, and sends the read data to a transmitter. The method provided by the embodiments of the present invention is applicable to data exchange between an automatic identification system and an external network.
SHIP VICINITY INFORMATION DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD OF DISPLAYING INFORMATION OF VICINITY OF SHIP
A ship vicinity information display device is provided, which is capable of displaying a position etc. of a destination of another ship based on information of the destination obtained from the other ship, in a mode which is intuitively easy to understand. A radar indicator may include a display unit, an AIS interface, and processing circuitry. The display unit may be capable of displaying an image of a situation in the vicinity of one ship. The AIS interface may receive the information of the destination of the other ship. The processing circuitry may acquire a longitude and latitude of the destination based on the destination information of the other ship and graphically display at least one of the position of the destination of the other ship and a direction of the destination from the other ship (other-ship destination symbol), on the display unit.
