SHIP DRAUGHT DETECTION APPARATUS AND ITS DETECTION METHOD
The present invention discloses a ship draught detection apparatus and its detection method. The ship draught detection apparatus includes two servo motors, a guide rail, a sonar detection device, a traction device, a locating device, and a control device. Compared with the provision of a series of sonar detection devices in the prior art, the provision of one sonar detection device reduces the cost and there is no mutual interference between adjacent sonars. Meanwhile, because a lock gate width of a ship lock is greater than a width of the ship, in order to improve the detection precision, the locating device is configured to predict in advance an accurate position of the ship when passing the ship lock according to the position of the ship and the orientation of a ship bow, and the control device controls the rotation speed and the direction of the two servo motors, and makes the sonar detection device move along the guide rail through the ropes, so that the sonar detection device is located just below the ship when the ship passes the ship lock, thereby improving the detection precision.

High Ping Rate Sonar
An apparatus, method, and computer-readable medium for high ping rate depth sounding. The apparatus may cause transmission of a first sonar beam having a first frequency and transmission of a second sonar beam having a second frequency with a transducer assembly. The transducer assembly maybe configured to transmit the first sonar beam and the second sonar beam into the underwater environment. The apparatus may receive sonar return data from the transducer assembly beginning either simultaneously with transmission of the first sonar beam or prior to transmission of the second sonar beam. The apparatus may further determine, based on sonar return data acquired after transmission of both the first sonar beam and the second sonar beam, that the sonar return data corresponds to the first sonar beam by determining that the sonar return data comprises the first frequency.

OBJECT DETECTION DEVICE AND DRIVING ASSISTANCE SYSTEM
An object detection device includes first and second detectors each configured to detect an object by transmitting an ultrasonic wave in a moving direction of the moving object and receiving a reflected wave of the ultrasonic wave, a second detector, a memory, and a hardware processor coupled to the memory, and configured to: determine that an obstacle is present in the moving direction of the moving object, based on object detection results by the first and second detectors; determine crossing of the obstacle based on object detection results by the first and second detectors in a state in which it is being determined that the obstacle is present; and cause a driving controller mounted on the moving object, to release driving restriction control of restricting movement of the moving object when determining the crossing, or prohibit the driving controller from releasing the driving restriction control under a predetermined condition.

Method for determining an occupancy status of a parking bay and for determining the occupancy statuses of several parking bays along a street
The invention relates to a method for determining an occupancy status of a parking bay, wherein a vehicle is moved along a street segment with at least one parking bay and the vehicle has a distance sensor as well as a sensor for satellite-based location and time determination. Furthermore, static parking information on the position of the parking bays in a street segment and parking information on the parking bays are on hand. By means of distance and location data projected distance data are produced which each indicate a distance datum of the distance sensor to the next object in the sensor direction at a point of the street of the street segment at the parking bay. By means of these projected distance data a standard distance is ascertained. Subsequently, for each point of a parking bay the determination is made if this is unoccupied by comparing the distance datum with the standard distance plus a delta. An area of a parking bay is determined as one or several vacant parking spaces if the rounded-down quotient of the length of the adjoining contiguous unoccupied points to the length of an average parking space is 1 or greater.
Sonar transducer system and method of processing data
In a sonar-based transducer system, single or multiple transducers may collect and transmit data to a management module for analysis to optimize and/or control a process. Secondary sensors may provide additional product data for analysis. Historical data may be stored in a data library for future reference. Real time data may be transmitted to a control center via a virtual dashboard.
