PARTICULATE PROTECTIVE ARTICLES
Apparatuses and associated methods of manufacturing are described that provide a particulate protective article. An example particulate protective article includes one or more structural sections that are formed of a primary material and one or more protective sections connected with the one or more structural sections so as to form an article of clothing. Each protective section is formed of a particulate blocking or filtering material. In an instance in which the article is worn by a user, the one or more protective sections shield one or more corresponding areas of the user's superficial lymphatic system from particulate matter. In some embodiments, the article is formed as a shirt so as to shield the torso, armpits, and/or neck of the user. In other embodiments, the article is formed as an undergarment so as to shield the groin, lower abdomen, and/or buttocks of the user.
Undergarment Having Elastic Gussets
An undergarment comprising a body, a waist opening at the top of the body, a left leg opening at the bottom left of the body, a right leg opening at the bottom right of the body, a crotch portion in between the left leg opening and the right leg opening, a left gusset on a left side of the body wherein the left gusset is a triangle with a vertical length no more than half of the vertical length of the left side of the body, and a right gusset on a right side of the body wherein the right gusset is a triangle with a vertical length no more than half of the vertical length of the right side of the body.
Method for manufacturing elastic pants
The invention relates to a method for continuously manufacturing elastic pants (28), wherein a flat web material (1, 16, 19) is continuously conveyed in a longitudinal direction (8) of the web material (1, 16, 19), is shaped into a closed tube (4), and is closed in the longitudinal direction (8). The closed tube (4) forms a first outer layer (9). Elastic threads (10) in the form of a tubular reinforcement are then wound around the first outer layer (9) in the conveying direction (8) in such a way that the elastic threads (10) are taut when the outer layer (9) has a convex shape. A second outer layer (15) is then continuously applied to the elastic threads (10) in the conveying direction (8) and is joined to the elastic threads (10) and/or the first outer layer (9). The first outer layer (9), the elastic threads (10) and the second outer layer (15) form an elastic pants web material (21). Further down in the conveying direction (8), the pants web material (21) is closed along a joining section (29) in regular intervals such that the joining section (29) forms two approximately equally large opening sections that lie opposite each other in the transverse direction. Further down in the conveying direction (8), the pants web material (21) is cut at a distance from the joining section (29) such that a pair of elastic pants (28) is formed.
SPORT UNDERGARMENT
A sport undergarment for running or similar sports, including a main opening having a strap to be worn on the hips of a user and a main portion connected to said strap and provided with two side openings, each for the insertion of a respective leg and provided with a respective side edge to be fitted at the level of the groin and/or thigh of the user when the undergarment is worn, is described. The main portion of the undergarment is configured so that at least one intermediate back portion thereof can be inserted into the intergluteal groove between the buttocks of the user and has at least first anti-slip means for restraining said at least one intermediate back portion in-between the buttocks of the user.
Convex Padded Hip Enhancing Garment
A padded compression garment consisting at least of underwear with a gusset (5) between the leg portions, a plurality of interconnected compressing components, and pockets (10) to receive padded inserts (7). This apparatus may be, in other embodiments, the foundation of a pair of leggings, pantyhose, or knee-length shorts; a slip or half-slip; and a compression bodysuit (regardless of sleeve length), all of which may be worn as undergarments or outer garments. The garment consists of two internally located lateral pockets (10), one on each side, that extend from the front outer leg, directly to the back outer leg. Two lateral openings exist at the waistband (3) for the pockets to receive padded inserts (7). Each insert is specifically designed to allow for the raised portion (7a.) of the padding to lay inward against the wearer's hip, while the flattened side (7b.) positions outward against the garment. The garment in combination with the padding serves the purpose of concealing the appearance of hip indentations (hip dips or violin hips), and of fat around the waistline (love handles), to provide the wearer with a generally desired, full hips and curvy silhouette.
Underwear with shirt tucking apparatus
An underwear with shirt tucking apparatus includes a lower undergarment, a second waist band, a plurality of attachments, and a plurality of gaps. The second waist band is circumferentially positioned around a first waist band of the lower undergarment and connected to the first waist band by the attachments. The attachments include a sagittal attachment, a first lateral attachment, and a second lateral attachment as the sagittal attachment is positioned along a sagittal plane of the lower undergarment and adjacent to a front section of the lower undergarment. The first lateral attachment and the second lateral attachment are positioned adjacent to a rear section of the lower undergarment. Resultantly, the sagittal attachment, the first lateral attachment, and the second lateral attachment are equally spaced around a circumference of the first waist band, delineating the plurality of gaps for a shirt to be tucked.
Smart zipper and garment
A smart zipper includes: a fastener stringer including two rows of zipper teeth and a joint at one end of the two rows of zipper teeth for fixedly connecting the one end of the two rows of zipper teeth; a slider, including two lateral limiting portions, the two lateral limiting portions having conductive properties, and the two lateral limiting portions respectively electrically contacting outer edges of the two rows of zipper teeth; and a resistance measuring chip electrically connected to the two lateral limiting portions of the slider respectively, wherein the resistance measuring chip, the slider and the fastener stringer form a conductive loop. The resistance measuring chip is used for measuring the resistance value of the conductive loop, and outputting a measurement signal. The smart zipper provided by the present disclosure can detect its own closed state. Therefore, the user can know the closed state of the zipper in real time to avoid embarrassment or property loss due to unclosed zipper.
CLOTHING ARTICLES HAVING ENCAPSULATION ZONES, AND SYSTEM AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SUCH CLOTHING ARTICLES
Clothing articles having one or more pre-defined encapsulation zones, as well as systems and methods of producing such clothing articles. A clothing article is made of a fabric intended to cover a region of a human body of a wearer. The fabric includes at least one encapsulation zone which is surrounded by a surrounding region. The encapsulation zone includes at least a first encapsulation region, which is surrounded by a second encapsulation region, which is surrounded by a third encapsulation region. The first encapsulation region has a first level of elasticity; the second encapsulation region has a second level of elasticity that is smaller than the first level of elasticity of the first encapsulation region; the third encapsulation region has a third level of elasticity that is smaller than the second level of elasticity of the second encapsulation region.
Clothing such as shorts
Clothing such as shorts is provided which is capable of fitting to the lower region of the hips of a person and preventing hip hemlines thereof from rising. The clothing includes a stretchable front covering portion and a stretchable back covering portion. A gusset portion disposed between an inner-crotch front portion at the lower end of the front covering portion and an inner-crotch back portion at the lower end of the back covering portion covers the crotch of the person. A body is opened and developed along a back center line of the back covering portion, and in the developed body, with respect to a front center line of the front covering portion, the back center line of the back covering portion is set so that the downward extended line of the back center line approaches the downward extended line of the front center line in a downward narrowing manner.
Garment with tension closure pocket
A garment or article of clothing made of a resilient/elastomeric material includes at least a waist portion, a first leg portion, and a second leg portion. The waist portion further includes a pocket on the rear of the garment, where the pocket is defined by a backing panel, a first flap, and a second flap. The first flap is at least partially disposed over the second flap to secure contents between the backing panel and the second panel, and thus, within the pocket. When the waist portion is stretched, the tensile forces imparted onto the waist portion by the resilient/elastomeric material causes the first flap to at least partially overlie the second flap. The pocket is sized and shaped to receive smartphones and other small personal items, such as keys, money, credit cards, identifications, etc.
