The present invention is a specially designed peritoneal undergarment that is effective at relieving pain while dialyzing. The current invention is ideal to combat irritation and can be manufactured using a variety of materials such as cotton which may be washed with household detergent.

Shapewear enhances the appearance of areas of a wearer's body, including the abdominal region. Typical shapewear that targets the abdominal area is often uncomfortable, because it uses methods to provide additional control to the area that also decrease the flexibility of the fabric. The shapewear garment disclosed herein includes a region configured to cover the abdominal region of a wearer. The abdominal region of the shapewear garment includes at least one dart provided in the fabric. The fabric of the shapewear garment is a high-elasticity fabric containing from about 20% to about 60% elastane. The darts in the abdominal region increase the control in the targeted abdominal area without significantly decreasing the flexibility and comfort of the high-elasticity fabric.

Present aspects hereof are directed to a circular knitted garment for a lower torso, formed from a circular knitted tube of fabric. In some aspects, a bottom edge of the tubular fabric body includes an arched front cutout with generally convergent legs, and an arched back cutout with generally divergent legs. Upon sewing a seam between the arched front cutout and the arched back cutout, a vertical seam is aligned with a vertical axis of the tubular fabric body and a front rise of the garment is lower than a back rise of the garment. In further aspects, a bottom angled cutout along the bottom edge of the tubular fabric body provides a perpendicular alignment between the bottom edge of the garment and the vertical inseam of the garment.

A lower torso garment (220) includes a body portion (104), a front pouch (106) disposed about a front region of the body portion, and a support sling connected to the front pouch and configured to support the front pouch. The support sling includes a left fabric panel (224) extending along a left side periphery (112a) of the front pouch and a right fabric panel (226) extending along a right side periphery (112b) of the front pouch. A portion of the left fabric panel overlaps a portion of the right fabric panel at an overlap area (228), and the overlap area is positioned adjacent to a bottom of the front pouch.

A garment comprises a body covering and support belts arranged on the body covering, the body covering comprising portions for covering joints of a wearer, wherein the support belts are arranged on the body covering to run along a surface of the body of the wearer so that each of the joint-covering portions of the body covering is positioned between one end of either of the support belts and the opposite end thereof, wherein the support belts are attached to the body covering so that the support belts and the body covering are separately and individually stretchable, and wherein the support belts each have a tension (T1) in a direction (S) connecting said one end and said opposite end of either of the support belts, and portions of the body covering that lie below the support belts each have a tension (T2) in a direction parallel to the direction (S).
