A womens one-piece bathing suit garment includes a bodice panel and an underwear portion. The bodice panel has a vertically placed connection mechanism which forms the torso of the garment. The underwear portion includes a plurality of waistband panels, a front panel, and a primary panel. The front of the bodice panel extends below waist-level to form the plurality of waistband panels. The primary panel forms the rear of the underwear portion of the garment. The primary panel is connected to the plurality of waistband panels via continuous pieces of material forming the leg openings of the garment. The primary panel is connected to the front panel to form a crotch of the garment. The front panel connects to the plurality of waistband panels via a connection mechanism, which upon connecting, the front panel forms the front for the underwear portion of the bathing suit garment.

The front and back portions are joined in a first and a second side seam along opposing side edges of the front and back portions and comprising a stretch-bonded laminate web including an elastic film which is stretch-bonded between two nonwoven webs. The side seams are constituted by fusion bonds formed by laser bonding and extend along the side edges of the front and back portions of the pant-type garment. A boxer brief includes a body portion, a waist band, a left leg portion, a right leg portion, a front pouch disposed about a front region of the body portion, a means for providing support to the front pouch via the front pouch being connected to a bottom horizontal seam entirely above the first leg opening and the second leg opening, and a means for separating at least a portion of an external male genitalia of the wearer from at least a portion of an inner thigh of the wearer.

A shapewear undergarment can include first and second leg openings where the first leg opening is located at a greater distance from a hip portion than the second leg opening, such that the shapewear undergarment will cover a greater portion of a wearer's first thigh than the wearer's second thigh when worn.

A protective pad or garment portion, garments, and individual layers, being a moisture wicking layer, a core moisture absorbing layer and a moisture impermeable layer, and combinations thereof are disclosed.

An orthotic device with an integrated compression knee sleeve that is less prone to slippage includes a waistband configured to encircle a wearer's waist; a seat portion and a front portion attached below the waistband to encircle the wearer's seat and crotch; a first leg portion attached below the seat portion and the front portion to partially cover a first leg of the wearer; and a second leg portion attached below the seat portion and the front portion to partially cover a second leg of the wearer. The second leg portion includes the integral compression knee sleeve, which encircles the wearer's knee to exert compressive forces on the knee.
