Slidable fiber optic connection module with cable slack management
A fiber optic telecommunications device includes a frame and a fiber optic module. The fiber optic module includes a main housing portion defining fiber optic connection locations for connecting cables to be routed through the frame and a cable management portion for guiding cables between the main housing portion and the frame. The main housing portion of the fiber optic module is slidably mounted to the frame, the main housing portion slidable between a retracted position and an extended position in a sliding direction. The cable management portion of the fiber optic module includes a radius limiter slidably coupled to both the main housing portion and the frame, wherein movement of the main housing portion with respect to the frame slidably moves the radius limiter with respect to the main housing portion along the sliding direction.
Optical component organizing members
In one form, an organizing member for optical components includes an elongate body extending about a hollow interior portion and including a peripheral sidewall. The organizing member also includes an optical fiber routing surface extending from the peripheral sidewall toward the hollow interior portion, and a recessed portion is positioned between the peripheral sidewall and the hollow interior portion. The recessed portion includes a number of receptacles offset from the optical fiber routing surface and corresponding in configuration to a respective optical component positionable therein.
Variable size seal and method
A seal may include a first seal section defining a first internal cylindrical surface defining a first internal diameter configured to provide a substantially fluid-resistant seal between the first internal cylindrical surface and an external surface of a cable. The seal may also include a second seal section coupled to the first seal section and defining a second internal cylindrical surface defining a second internal diameter configured to provide a substantially fluid-resistant seal between the second internal cylindrical surface and an external surface of a cable, wherein the first internal diameter and the second internal diameter may differ from one another. An entry module assembly for facilitating entry of one or more cables into an enclosure may include an entry module plate defining an aperture configured to receive a cable therethrough, and a seal coupled to the entry module plate and extending through the aperture of the entry module plate.
Cable management arrangement
A cable management arrangement (1000) is disclosed. In one aspect, a plurality of cables (1002) extending between first and second ends is provided. The arrangement (1000) can also include a supporting sheet (1004) having a first side and a second side, wherein the plurality of cables (1002) is removably adhered to the supporting sheet first side by a first adhesive (1010). A second adhesive (1012) can be provided on at least a portion of the supporting sheet second side and a protection sheet (1014) can be provided to cover the second adhesive (1012). A protection sheet (1014) can be provided that is removable from the supporting sheet (1004) to allow the supporting sheet (1004) to be adhered to a surface. A telecommunications arrangement is also disclosed in which the aforementioned cable management arrangement (1000) is mounted to a telecommunications tray (112) via the second adhesive (1012).
Optical Module
An optical module is provided with a columnar protrusion over the entire pickup area (EP) for automatic suction by a mounting device at the center of the upper surface of a fiber holding carrier. The protrusion secures a dedicated pickup area (EP1) on a top surface. When an extra length of an optical fiber extending from an optical device is routed and held between a pair of wall portions, the extra length including a tip portion is held in a storage area of the fiber holding carrier by a restoring force caused by being pressed against the wall portions. In this holding state, since the tip portion of the extra length can be disposed along the outer periphery of the protrusion, even in a case where the position where the optical fiber is held is slightly shifted by a shock from outside.
TECHNOLOGIES FOR PROVIDING EFFICIENT REPROVISIONING IN AN ACCELERATOR DEVICE
Technologies for providing efficient reprovisioning in an accelerator device include an accelerator sled. The accelerator sled includes a memory and an accelerator device coupled to the memory. The accelerator device is to configure itself with a first bit stream to establish a first kernel, execute the first kernel to produce output data, write the output data to the memory, configure itself with a second bit stream to establish a second kernel, and execute the second kernel with the output data in the memory used as input data to the second kernel. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.
Adapter panel with lateral sliding adapter arrays
An adapter panel arrangement including a chassis and a panel of adapters. The adapters defining rearward cable connections and forward cable connections of the panel arrangement. Openings permitting access to the rearward and forward cable connections of the adapters are provided. The chassis further including a removable rear chassis portion to provide access to cable routing areas within the chassis interior.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD OF PROVIDING A TRAY FOR HOLDING AN OPTOELECTRONIC DEVICE DURING PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD MANUFACTURING
An apparatus, system and method of providing a tray suitable for holding an optoelectronic device during printed circuit board manufacturing processes. The apparatus, system and method includes a tray body having an inset for receiving the optoelectronic device; a plurality of positioners for the optoelectronic device within the inset; and a guide channel about a perimeter of the tray body suitable for receiving optical fibers of the optoelectronic device when the optoelectronic device is received in the inset, the guide channel comprising at least one retainer for retaining received ones of the optical fibers therewithin.
