An imaging lens includes, successively in order from a position closest to an object side, a positive first lens group that does not move during focusing, a stop, and a positive second lens group that moves during focusing. The second lens group consists of all lenses that integrally move during focusing. The imaging lens satisfies predetermined conditional expressions.

The inner extended portions are adjacent to and surround the central hole, wherein each of the inner extended portions is extended and tapered from the first corresponding circle towards the second corresponding circle and includes an inner surface, and the inner surface includes a line pair. The line pair includes two line sections, wherein one end of one line section thereof and one end of the other line section thereof are towards the second corresponding circle and approach to each other.

The imaging lens consists of, in order from the object side, a front group that includes a stop and has a positive refractive power, and a rear group. During focusing, the entire front group integrally moves, and the rear group remains stationary with respect to an image plane. The rear group includes one or more air lenses formed by two concave lens surfaces facing toward each other. The imaging lens satisfies Conditional Expressions: 0.1<Bf/f<0.9 and −0.7<(Rrf+Rrr)/(Rrf−Rrr)<−0.025, where a back focal length of a whole system is Bf, a focal length of the whole system is f, and a curvature radius of an object side surface of the air lens in the rear group is Rrf and a curvature radius of an image side surface of the air lens in the rear group is Rrr.

PROJECTION LENS SYSTEM AND IMAGE PROJECTION APPARATUS
A projection lens system (G1, G2) includes a front group (G1) disposed on a projection-plane (SC) side, a rear group (G2) disposed on a display-surface (SF) side of an image display element inclined with reference to the projection plane (SC), and an aperture stop (S) disposed on the display-surface (SF) side with reference to the front group (G1). The rear-group optical axis is tilted on the shared plane at a tilt angle ξ with reference to the display-surface normal. In projection lens system (G1, G2), when the amount of shift Δ is zero, the tilt angle ξ satisfies a conditional expression 0<ξ/ξs<1, where ξs denotes a tilt angle when Scheimpflug principle is satisfied with reference to the display surface (SF) and the projection plane (SC).
PROJECTION LENS SYSTEM AND IMAGE PROJECTION APPARATUS
A projection lens system (G1, G2) includes a front group (G1) disposed on a projection-plane (SC) side, a rear group (G2) disposed on a display-surface (SF) side of an image display element inclined with reference to the projection plane (SC), and an aperture stop (S) disposed on the display-surface (SF) side with reference to the front group (G1). The rear-group optical axis is tilted on the shared plane at a tilt angle ξ with reference to the display-surface normal. In projection lens system (G1, G2), when the amount of shift Δ is zero, the tilt angle ξ satisfies a conditional expression 0<ξ/ξs<1, where ξs denotes a tilt angle when Scheimpflug principle is satisfied with reference to the display surface (SF) and the projection plane (SC).
WIDE-ANGLE LENS
The present invention provides a wide-angle lens capable of obtaining a suitable negative power even when a thickness of a first lens is increased in order to increase strength against impact. The wide-angle lens 100 has a front group 110, an aperture 80, and a rear group 120. Assuming that a central thickness in an optical axis direction of a first lens 10 is T1 (mm) and a focal length of the entire lens system is f0 (mm), the following conditional expression:
1.500≤T1/f0≤2.000 Conditional expression (1)
is satisfied. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the first lens 10 from being damaged by impact. In addition, it is possible to prevent the first lens 10 from becoming too thick to obtain suitable negative power.
WIDE-ANGLE LENS
The present invention provides a wide-angle lens capable of obtaining a suitable negative power even when a thickness of a first lens is increased in order to increase strength against impact. The wide-angle lens 100 has a front group 110, an aperture 80, and a rear group 120. Assuming that a central thickness in an optical axis direction of a first lens 10 is T1 (mm) and a focal length of the entire lens system is f0 (mm), the following conditional expression:
1.500≤T1/f0≤2.000 Conditional expression (1)
is satisfied. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the first lens 10 from being damaged by impact. In addition, it is possible to prevent the first lens 10 from becoming too thick to obtain suitable negative power.

An imaging optical system includes, sequentially from an object side toward an image side, a first lens group; an aperture stop; and a second lens group. The first lens group includes a negative lens; and a positive lens formed of a plastic lens. The second lens group includes a plastic lens and satisfies Conditional Expressions (1) and (2) as follows:
