A reflex site having a superluminescent micro-display, dynamic reticle, and metadata overlay is provided. The reflex site may include a housing; an optical collimator lens with a dichroic coating configured to reflect one or more wavelengths of light, wherein a target is viewable by a user through the optical collimator lens; a superluminescent micro-display that projects onto the optical collimator lens a reticle image for a desired point of impact of a bullet on a target and a related metadata overlay, wherein the reticle image and the related metadata overlay are superimposed on a view of the target viewable through the optical collimator lens, such that the target, the reticle image, and the related metadata overlay are all directly visible to the user, when viewing the target through the optical collimator lens; a microprocessor that calculates a ballistic solution for the target and generates the reticle image for the desired point of impact of the bullet on the target based on the calculated ballistic solution, the microprocessor providing a signal containing the reticle image and the related metadata overlay to the superluminescent micro-display; a power system that provides power to the superluminescent micro-display and the microprocessor; a rail grabber configured to couple the reflex sight to a barrel of a weapon; and a boresighting mechanism configured to align the reflex sight with the barrel.

Long-range optical sighting device having target mark illumination
11268788 · 2022-03-08 · ·

A long-range optical sighting device includes a housing, which comprises an objective, an eyepiece, a reversing system and a target mark. The target mark illumination is switchable and controllable via an operating platform. The operating platform has one or a plurality of manually actuatable switches arranged on the housing in the region of the eyepiece, on the top of the housing in the operating position, and a power supply. Control electronics and a light-sensitive sensor system for detecting the ambient brightness are integrated in the operating platform and/or the housing in the region of the eyepiece. The operating platform comprises one or a plurality of light entrance openings for the light-sensitive sensor system in the direction of the objective.

SIGHTING ARRANGEMENT COMPRISING A PRISM SYSTEM WITH A FLAT TOP SURFACE
20220026174 · 2022-01-27 ·

A sighting arrangement, comprising an illuminated mark and a prism system consisting of a first prism and a second prism which are connected to each other via a dichroic reflector surface, the prism system comprising a sight axis and a superimposition axis for imaging the illuminated mark onto a sighted target. The bottom surface, via which the imaging beam path emanating from the illuminated mark is coupled into the prism system, and the convexly curved mirror surface, which is absolutely necessary for collimating the imaging beam path, are located on the same side of the prism system, namely on the mounting side facing a device on which the prism system is mounted as intended. As a result, the prism system has a flat top surface which does not limit the field of view section determined by the visible edges of the prism system.

VOLUMETRIC LED ALIGNMENT AID FOR SIGHTING DEVICE
20210333067 · 2021-10-28 ·

An apparatus and method of manufacturing a sighting device mountable to a gun to assist a shooter in aiming at a target. The apparatus comprises an optical element and a light source which provide feedback to the user regarding alignment with a target. The alignment aid optical element is a ring of transparent material with a user-facing, contoured surface—coated with a reflective material that reflects a narrow band of light wavelengths—with an inner and outer edge. The apparatus further comprises a light source coupled to a mount located at a focal point of the lens wherein the emission of light from the light source faces the lens. The wavelengths emitted from the light source correspond to those of the coatings on the lens.

Optical Device and Prism Module Thereof

An optical device includes an objective module, a prism module and an ocular module. The prism module includes a first prism, a second prism, a third prism and a first coating. The prism module is disposed between the objective module and the ocular module. A first light beam emitted by an object sequentially passes through the objective module, the prism module and the ocular module. Central axes of the objective module and the ocular module are in parallel without overlapping.

Weapon system with multi-function single-view scope

Certain aspects of a novel weapon sight system combine a direct view, a visible light video view, and an infrared (IR) video view mode. Each of the view modes may be viewed individually or simultaneously with one or more of the other view modes through a single viewing aperture. Further, the one or more view-modes may be provided while providing a bore-sighted reticle superimposed on the selected view. Further, the reticle may be powered separately from the video view electronics enabling use of the reticle regardless of the power status video view electronics.
