Apparatus, process, and system for display of images on windows of vehicles
The present application discloses a windshield for a vehicle with the windshield having a first glass layer, a second glass layer, a first plastic interlayer between the first glass layer and the second glass layer, and an electronic display between the first glass layer and the plastic layer. The electronic display is configured to display at least one image when in operation.
DISPLAY APPARATUS AND DISPLAY SYSTEM
A display apparatus and a display system are provided, and relate to the field of display device technologies, to enhance visual experience generated when a picture is displayed by using an existing reflective display window such as a windshield and a bathroom mirror, so that a sense of presence and immersion is improved. The display apparatus includes an image generation unit and an optical imaging unit. The image generation unit is configured to generate a real image whose display surface is a curved surface. The optical imaging unit is configured to perform imaging on the real image, to generate an enlarged virtual image corresponding to the real image, where a display surface of the virtual image is a curved surface adaptive to the display surface of the real image.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY APPARATUS, DISPLAY METHOD, AND DISPLAY SYSTEM
One example display apparatus includes a multi-focus image generation device with a plurality of different focal lengths, configured to generate a first plurality of images, where focal planes of the first plurality of images are located in different positions. The example display apparatus includes a light diffuser screen, disposed on an image plane of the multi-focus image generation device, and configured to receive the first plurality of images, and diffuse light beams of the first plurality of images to generate a second plurality of images. The example display apparatus includes an optical image device, configured to image light beams of the second plurality of images to form a third plurality of images with different imaging distances.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY SCREEN, HEAD-UP DISPLAY ASSEMBLY, AND VEHICLE
A head-up display screen, a head-up display assembly, and a vehicle are provided. The head-up display screen is attached to an inner side of an attachment surface of a windshield and configured to reflect image light emitted towards the windshield. The head-up display screen includes a functional layer, a reflective layer, and a protective layer that are sequentially arranged in a direction from the windshield to a driving position. The functional layer includes prism microstructures protruding from the inner side of the attachment surface of the windshield. The reflective layer is at least attached to lower inclined surfaces of the prism microstructures and is configured to reflect the image light towards the driving position. The protective layer covers the reflective layer and the functional layer.
Graphical user interface for displaying automatically segmented individual parts of anatomy in a surgical navigation system
A surgical navigation system includes a source of a patient anatomy data, wherein the patient anatomy data comprises a three-dimensional reconstruction of a segmented model comprising at least two sections representing parts of the anatomy. A surgical navigation image generator is configured to generate a surgical navigation image comprising the patient anatomy. A 3D display system is configured to show the surgical navigation image wherein the display of the patient anatomy is selectively configurable such that at least one section of the anatomy is displayed and at least one other section of the anatomy is not displayed.
Optical systems with solid transparent substrate
A variety of femtoprojector optical systems are described. Each of them can be made small enough to fit in a contact lens using plastic injection molding, diamond turning, photolithography and etching, or other techniques. Most, but not all, of the systems include a solid cylindrical transparent substrate with a curved primary mirror formed on one end and a secondary mirror formed on the other end. Any of the designs may use light blocking, light-redirecting, absorbing coatings or other types of baffle structures as needed to reduce stray light.
Display device and control method thereof
A display device for displaying image information including an image generator circuit and a photo-switchable screen is provided. The image generator circuit outputs an output image. The photo-switchable screen operates in a first operation mode or a second operation mode. In response to the photo-switchable screen operating in the first operation mode, the photo-switchable screen has a first light-transmittance, and the photo-switchable screen generates the image information according to the output image. In response to the photo-switchable screen operating in the second operation mode, the photo-switchable screen has a second light-transmittance. The first light-transmittance is less than the second light-transmittance.
CONTROL METHOD
A control method applied in a display device is provided. The display device includes an image generator and a screen. The image generator is directed to output an output image. The screen is directed to operate in a first operation mode or a second operation mode. The screen has a first light-transmittance in the first operation mode and has a second light-transmittance in the second operation mode. The first light-transmittance is different from the second light-transmittance. In response to the screen operating in the first operation mode or the second operation mode, the image generator outputs the output image onto the screen in a light-emitting period and stops outputting the output image onto the screen in a non-light-emitting period after the light-emitting period.
Window for an aircraft and display for aircraft window
A sidewall assembly for an aircraft and an aircraft are provided. In one example, the sidewall assembly includes a window. A sidewall portion has an inner-facing side and at least partially surrounds the window. The sidewall portion and the window have a curved contour. A transparent display panel is coupled to the sidewall portion and covers the inner-facing side of the sidewall portion including the window. The transparent display panel includes a display screen configured to display information to a passenger. The transparent display panel including the display screen have a curved contour that substantially matches the curved contour of the sidewall portion and the window. A display controller is in communication with the transparent display panel to communicate a video/audio signal providing the information to the display screen.
Overlay Display
Some embodiments provide a system which includes a layered transparent surface which includes a UV absorption layer configured to be located between a user environment and an external environment and a phosphor layer configured to be located between the user environment and the UV absorption layer. An image projection system can project an ultraviolet image upon the phosphor layer, which can generate a visual image based on a fluorescent reaction of the phosphor layer to the ultraviolet image which can be perceived by a user in the user environment. The image projection system can include a plurality of image projection systems which can project separate images on separate projection fields, which can result in the phosphor layer generating an image which can be perceived by a user, in the user environment, as a stereoscopic image.
