SYSTEM AND METHOD OF GENERATING IMAGES FROM BACKSIDE OF PHOTOACTIVE LAYER
A display system includes a wedge optical element, a photoactive layer, light director, and light modulator. The wedge optical element has a clear substrate. The photoactive layer receives emitted light that generates an image. The light director is disposed between the photoactive layer and the wedge optical element. The light modulator generates emitted light and is optically coupled to the wedge optical element to direct the emitted light to an angled side of the wedge optical element. The angled side of the wedge optical element is configured to reflect the emitted light toward a backside of the photoactive layer to generate an image viewable by a user on a frontside of the photoactive layer. The light director is disposed to receive the emitted light from the angled side of the wedge optical element and direct the emitted light toward propagating substantially normal to the backside of the photoactive layer.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL PHONE CASE
A multifunctional case for cell phones, tablets, and other personal electronic devices with flip, sliding, and adjustable magnifying lens for viewing a screen is disclosed. The multifunctional case includes options with a detachable lens and a handle, allowing a user carrying a smartphone or similar personal electronic device mounted in the multifunctional case an immediately available means to magnify print on objects, giving the user various ways to eliminate many occasions where reading glassed are needed.
Adjustable display optics
A system can include a display configured to emit light rays; an adjustable-prescription optics overlay; and circuitry to adjust the adjustable-prescription optics overlay to a selected prescription to alter a focus of light rays emitted by at least a portion of the display. Various other apparatuses, systems, methods, etc., are also disclosed.
Magnification viewer lens
A magnification viewer lens device is provided that is used to magnify objects when viewed through the device. The device comprises a magnification lens housing supporting a magnification lens, whereby the housing is supported along its perimeter by an arm assembly. The arm assembly comprises an elongated arm and a clamp, whereby the arm assembly is rotatable relative to the housing and to the clamp. The clamp forms a rounded clamping member that is suitable for securing the device to a golf cart steering wheel or alternate support. The arm and the housing remains static relative to the hinge joints of the arm using friction hinges, while the housing supports a Fresnel lens for magnifying objects when viewed therethrough. In one embodiment, the housing is substantially rectangular and the arm and clamp are designed to secure the housing over the scorecard area of a golf cart steering wheel.
MAGNIFYING BOTTLE CAP ASSEMBLY
A magnifying bottle cap assembly comprising a magnifying lens assembly. Said magnifying lens assembly comprising a magnifying lens with an integral radially extended periphery and a plurality of standoff reinforcing elements integral to said radially extended periphery, said standoff reinforcing elements arranged non-radially to the lateral plane of said radially extended periphery, a unitary cap body comprising an annular portion for engaging a bottle, said portion for engaging having an inner diameter less than or equal to the diameter of said magnifying lens assembly, a first annular retaining portion formed to mechanically engage the top of said magnifying lens assembly and to mechanically engage the perimeter of the standoff reinforcing elements integral to the top of said radially extended periphery, a second annular retaining portion formed to mechanically engage the bottom of said magnifying lens assembly and to mechanically engage the perimeter of the standoff reinforcing elements integral to the top of said radially extended periphery.
MAGNIFYING BOTTLE ASSEMBLY WITH IMPROVED SEALING CAPABILITY
A magnifying bottle assembly, comprising a cap; further comprising a cap housing and a magnifying lens. Said magnifying lens provides a radially extended portion, further comprising an integral retaining ring oriented upwardly for engaging said cap housing, and a gasket engaging ring oriented downwardly for engaging a gasket. Said retaining ring is oriented with respect to said radially extended portion so as to form a pressure channel. The magnifying bottle assembly further comprises a container suitable for engaging said cap.
System and method of generating images on photoactive surfaces
An image generating system includes an electromagnetic (EM) modulator, a camera module and a logic engine. The EM modulator is positioned to direct EM waves to a photoactive surface to stimulate the photoactive surface to generate an image. The camera module is positioned to monitor the photoactive surface to generate image data. The logic engine is communicatively coupled to the camera module and configured to receive the image data from the camera module and analyze the image data. The logic engine is communicatively coupled to the EM modulator to command the EM modulator where to direct the EM waves in response to the image data.
NEAR-EYE DISPLAY SYSTEM
An optical magnification is disclosed. The system comprises: a structure having a frame configured to removably secure a display device thereto; and a pair of spaced apart ocular systems, mounted on the structure in front of the frame for providing a view of the display device once mounted on the frame; wherein each of the ocular systems has an aspheric optical surface and provides a prismatic refraction.
Keyboard magnifying device
A keyboard magnifying device for allowing users to more easily view the keys on a keyboard. The keyboard magnifying device includes a base on which a keyboard can be positioned, an upstanding post extending upwardly from a rear portion of the base, and a frame pivotally attached to the upper end of the upstanding post. The frame includes an open central area, wherein a magnifying lens is positioned over the open central area. The frame and magnifying lens are vertically aligned with the base so that a user can look through the magnifying lens at the keyboard disposed on the base in order to provide an enlarged view of the keys thereon. The keyboard magnifying device may further include one or more lights directed at the base so as to illuminate the keyboard positioned thereon.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device is provided. The display device includes a display module and a cover lens. The display module has a display area and a non-display area aside the display area. The cover lens which is disposed on the display module and covers the same includes a convex lens portion and a cover portion, wherein the convex lens portion has a convex cover surface facing the display area, the cover portion is connected to a side of the convex lens portion opposite to convex cover surface; the cover portion also has a fringe extending outsides the convex lens portion. The cover portion has an outer surface which includes a central area and a cambered surface connected to the central area and corresponding to the fringe.
