ADJUSTABLE NOSE BRIDGE ASSEMBLY FOR HEADWORN COMPUTER
Aspects of the present invention relate to a head-worn computer, comprising a removable and replaceable adjustable nose bridge assembly, wherein the adjustable nose bridge assembly has at least three user adjustable features to adapt the adjustable nose bridge assembly to the user's nose, wherein a first adjustment of the at least three user adjustable features is adapted to move the adjustable nose bridge up and down relative to a lens of the head-worn computer, wherein a second adjustment of the at least three user adjustable features is adapted to rotate a nose pad of the adjustable nose bridge about an axis substantially perpendicular to a top frame of the head-worn computer, and wherein a third adjustment of the at least three user adjustable features is adapted to flare the nose pad to the side of the axis.
Device and method for adjusting the position of eyeglasses on the face of a user
A device for adjusting a position of eyeglasses on a face of a user is provided. The device includes a body having proximal and distal ends, the body being provided with a pronounced bow; at least one nose engaging member provided on the proximal end of the body, the nose engaging member being structured to engage with a bridge of a nose of the user; and at least one frame engaging member provided on the distal end of the body, the frame engaging member being structured to engage with the frame of the eyeglasses, wherein the pronounced bow of the body is structured to adjust a horizontal position of the eyeglasses with respect to the face of the user.
COMFORT FIT SLIP-RESISTANT EYEWEAR SYSTEM
An anti-slip eyewear system comprising a nosepiece configured to couple to a bridge of an eyewear frame, the nosepiece comprising a core comprised of a first material and an outer layer at least partially surrounding or overlapping the core and comprised of a second material, the second material having a lower durometer than the first material, wherein the second material creates a plurality of Schallamach waves on an outer surface of the nosepiece when the outer layer of the nosepiece is in contact with at least a portion of a face of a user. The first material may have a durometer greater than about Shore 40A on the Shore A hardness scale and the second material may have a durometer less than about Shore 40A on the Shore A hardness scale.
EYEWEAR SYSTEM HAVING AN ADJUSTABLE DECLINATION ANGLE
An eyewear system comprising an eyewear frame comprising a first side bow component and a second side bow component, an auxiliary frame comprising an auxiliary top bar, an auxiliary first side bow component and an auxiliary second side bar component, the auxiliary first side bow component and the auxiliary second side bow component pivotally coupled to the first side bow component and the second side bow component, respectively. The system further comprises a declination angle adjuster positioned proximal a bridge of the eyewear frame, the declination angle adjuster comprising a rotatable member therein, and a vertical extension member extending from the eyewear frame and at least partially into the declination angle adjuster, the vertical extension member configured to engage the rotatable member within the declination angle adjuster.
GLASSES
Glasses have a groove provided in a vertical direction on a bridge of a glasses frame. A support section of a nose pad of the glasses is connected to an end portion of a positioning section of the nose pad, the positioning section is slidably disposed in the groove, and the positioning section has a plurality of locking slots and a limiting slot. An adjustment mechanism of the glasses is disposed at the glasses frame, and a pressing member of the adjustment mechanism is disposed perpendicular to the groove, where one end of the pressing member protrudes from one side of the groove, and the other end penetrates through the groove and the limiting slot. A positioning member of the adjustment mechanism is connected to the other end of the pressing member. The positioning member moves from a positioning position to a release position by pushing of the pressing member.
EYEGLASSES ASSEMBLING STRUCTURE HAVING ANCILLARY FRAME
An eyeglasses assembling structure having an ancillary frame is disclosed herein. It mainly comprises a main frame, an ancillary frame, a connecting part correspondingly engaged with the main frame at a lower end thereof and having plural engaging slots at an upper end thereof, an adjusting element having plural protrusions and an orientation part, and an engaging part disposed on the ancillary frame and correspondingly engaged with the adjusting element to adjust a rotation angle of the ancillary frame, wherein each of the plural protrusions engages with one of the plural engaging slots to adjust distance from the connecting part to the ancillary frame.
REMOVABLE, ADJUSTABLE WIRE ARMS FOR NOSE PADS
An assembly with removable and replaceable wire arms is used to attach different nose pad configurations to eyeglass frames for enhanced versatility. A plate with front and back surfaces and opposing side edges mounts on the bridge portion of the eyeglass frames. Opposing right and left wire members extending downwardly from the side edges of the plate terminate in a coupling mechanism adapted to receive a nose pad. The wire members are manually bendable, enabling a user to independently adjust the distance between the nose pads and the distance of the nose pads from the eyeglass frames. The coupling mechanisms may include holes to receive nose pads with posts, and screws to hold the posts in position, or barbed fins to receive nose pads with slots that engage with the barbed fins. The coupling mechanisms may receive physically separate nose pads or nose pads interconnected through an upper nose rest.
