A display component and a display device are provided. The display component includes a display panel including a first substrate, a thin-film transistor array layer, a second substrate and a coil-containing film layer. The coil-containing film layer at least includes a first metal layer, a first insulation layer, a second metal layer, and a second insulation layer. The first metal layer includes at least one first coil and the second metal layer includes at least one signal line, where the one first coil of the first metal layer is electrically connected to one or two signal lines of the second metal layer. An orthographic projection of the first coil on the first substrate is at least partially in the display region. The display component further includes a coil drive circuit, where the coil drive circuit is electrically connected to each of the first coil and the signal line, respectively.
CHARGE CONTROL AGENTS AND PARTICLE DISPERSIONS INCLUDING THE SAME
Mixtures are disclosed containing a plurality of charged pigment particles and a one or more charge control agents. At least one of the charge control agents has a chemical structure that includes a cationic head group, such as an ammonium cation or an iminium compound, and a non-ionic, polar functional group, other than an acyclic secondary amide group. The mixtures are useful as dispersions for forming electrophoretic media that may be incorporated into electrophoretic displays. Alternatively, the dispersions may be useful for forming electrophotographic toners and dispersions for other printing applications.
CHARGE CONTROL AGENTS AND PARTICLE DISPERSIONS INCLUDING THE SAME
Mixtures are disclosed containing a plurality of charged pigment particles and a one or more charge control agents. At least one of the charge control agents has a chemical structure that includes a cationic head group, such as an ammonium cation or an iminium compound, and a non-ionic, polar functional group, other than an acyclic secondary amide group. The mixtures are useful as dispersions for forming electrophoretic media that may be incorporated into electrophoretic displays. Alternatively, the dispersions may be useful for forming electrophotographic toners and dispersions for other printing applications.
Electro-optic display and composite materials having low thermal sensitivity for use therein
An electro-optic display includes a layer of electro-optic material, at least one conductor, and an adhesive material between the layer of electro-optic material and the at least one conductor. At least one of the electro-optic material and adhesive material comprises a composite material that includes a polymer phase and a filler phase, the filler phase having a conductivity greater than or equal to 0.510.sup.3 S/m, a ratio of the coefficient of thermal expansion of the filler to the polymer is less than or equal to 0.5, and a concentration of the filler phase in the composite material is greater than or equal to a filler concentration corresponding to a conductivity transition point of the composite material.
Active molecule delivery system comprising microcells
The present invention is directed to an active molecule delivery system comprising a plurality of microcells wherein each of the microcells has a bottom, the panel has a first area and a second area, and the microcells in the first area have substantially the same bottom thickness and the microcells in the second area have added bottom thicknesses. Such a panel is useful for many applications, such drug administrations.

Variable transmission electrophoretic devices
A variable transmission film may include an electrophoretic medium having a plurality of capsules and a binder, each capsule containing a plurality of electrically charged particles and a fluid, the charged particles being movable by application of an electric field and being capable of being switched between an open state and a closed state. The film may include at least one of a binder containing fish gelatin and a polyanion; a binder containing one or more tinting agents; capsules containing charge control agents, such as an oligoamine-terminated polyolefin and a branched chain fatty acid comprising at least 8 carbon atoms; a selection of capsules in which at least 60% have a diameter between 50 m and 90 m and at least 15% have a diameter between 20 m and 49 m; a tinted adhesive layer; and a fluid selected from one or more nonconjugated olefinic hydrocarbons.
Reflective microcells for electrophoretic displays and methods of making the same
A polymeric film includes a plurality of tapered microcells containing a dispersion of a first group and a second group of charged particles. The first group and second group of charged particles having opposite charge polarities. The tapered microcells include a wall and at least a portion of the wall is configured to repel the first group of charged particles. Also provided is a method of making a laminate for an electrophoretic display comprising embossing a plurality of tapered microcells through a layer of polymeric film and into a release sheet to form an embossed film; laminating the embossed film to a layer of conductive material on a protective sheet to form a laminated film; removing the release sheet from the polymeric film to form an opening to an interior of each microcell of the laminated film; filling the microcells with a dispersion fluid; and sealing the microcells.
DISPLAY PANEL, DISPLAY APPARATUS AND METHOD OF FABRICATING DISPLAY PANEL
A display panel including a substrate, a thermal sensor, a plurality of sensing traces, a pixel layer, and a display medium layer is provided. The substrate has a display area. The thermal sensor is attached on the substrate. The sensing traces are disposed on the substrate and connected to the thermal sensor. The pixel layer disposed on the substrate includes a pixel structure and a plurality of signal lines. The pixel structure is disposed in the display area and connected to the signal lines. The signal lines of the pixel layer are independent from the sensing traces. The display medium layer is disposed on the substrate and the pixel layer is located between the display medium layer and the substrate. A display apparatus and a method of fabricating the display panel are also provided.
VEHICULAR DISPLAY AND VEHICLE INCLUDING THE SAME
A vehicular display that ensures no cooped-up feeling is felt by an occupant providing limited visibility arranged on a transparent outer panel of a vehicle is an electronic paper that displays a video on a vehicle exterior. The electronic paper is provided with a plurality of hole portions to have a light transmission region through which a light is transmitted in the electronic paper. In a state where the electronic paper is viewed in a thickness direction, a hole occupancy as a ratio of an area of the plurality of hole portions to a whole area of the light transmission region falls within a range of 40% or more and 80% or less, and a maximum length that connects two points on a peripheral edge of each of the hole portions falls within a range of 0.5 mm or more and 8.0 mm or less.
