APPARATUS, METHOD THEREOF, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An apparatus includes a control unit that executes exposure control by adjusting a shutter speed, an aperture value, and a sensitivity, and a setting unit that switches on/off a simulation function for adjusting an image quality of an image for live view display to match an image quality depending on an aperture opening for acquiring a still image for recording. If the simulation function is on, the control unit controls a difference amount between an aperture value for acquiring the image for live view display and an aperture value for acquiring the still image depending on an aperture value for acquiring the still image for recording such that the difference amount when the aperture value for the still image is a second value larger than a first value is larger than that when the aperture value for the still image is the first value.
Computer implemented method and a system for coordinating taking of a picture using a camera and initiation of a flash pulse of at least one flash device
The present disclosure relates to a computer implemented method and system for coordinating taking of a picture using a camera and initiation of a flash pulse of at least one flash device. The method is adapted for a system including a first device and at least one remote device. The method comprises the steps of obtaining a time base for a processor element of the first device, estimating a time base for a processor element of each at least one remote device in relation to the time base of the processor element of the first device, scheduling a timing for initiation of the flash pulse of the respective at least one flash device and/or a timing for taking a picture using the camera in the time base of the first device so that the coordination with the timing for taking the picture is obtained, and obtaining at the respective remote device of the system the scheduled timing of initiation of the remote device in the time base of that device.
Image capturing apparatus, control method thereof, and recording medium storing program
The present disclosure is directed to preventing an operation from being performed in an operation mode that is not intended by a user. In an image capturing apparatus, a moving image lever is an operation member for issuing an instruction to change an operation mode to a moving image capturing mode that is a state where a moving image is recordable. In order to avoid unintentional change of the operation mode to the moving image capturing mode due to an erroneous operation on the moving image lever, a setting is made to enable and disable an instruction that is issued by operating the moving image lever. If the setting is changed to “disable” while the image capturing apparatus is operating in the moving image capturing mode, a microcomputer changes an operation mode to a still image capturing mode.

METHOD FOR DETERMINING SEMI-SYNCHRONOUS EXPOSURE PARAMETERS AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Disclosed are a method for determining semi-synchronous exposure parameters and an electronic device. The method in the embodiments of the present invention comprises: acquiring first exposure parameters corresponding to each lens; if it is determined that a preset EV limit value is not satisfied according to the first exposure parameters of each lens and adjacent lenses, respectively calculating exposure control parameters of each lens; calculating second exposure parameters corresponding to each lens according to the exposure control parameters of each lens and the first exposure parameters corresponding to each lens; if it is determined that the preset EV limit value is satisfied according to the second exposure parameters of each lens and adjacent lenses, determining the second exposure parameters corresponding to each lens to be semi-synchronized exposure parameters of each lens.
LIGHTING SYSTEM AND CONTROL THEREOF
The present invention relates to a method for controlling a lighting device, the method comprising: receiving data relating to settings on a camera; determining an illuminance for at least one lighting device in dependence on said data; and modifying the illuminance of a lighting device to said determined illuminance.

IMAGER WITH ACTIVE EXPOSURE CORRECTION
An imager module for a vehicle is disclosed. The imager module comprises an imager configured to capture image data over a plurality of image frames based on incoming light in a field of view and an optic device configured to control a transmission of the incoming light. The module comprises a controller configured to identify an exposure time for the imager based on environmental lighting conditions and adjust the exposure time by a flicker mitigation period. The adjustment of the exposure time mitigates an appearance of a periodic light source in the image data. The controller is further configured to control the transmission of the optic device to control the transmission of the incoming light.

PHOTOGRAPHING APPARATUS AND PHOTOGRAPHING METHOD
A photographing apparatus, comprising: an imaging optical system; an image sensor which receives a light flux passing through the imaging optical system, captures an image, and outputs an imaging signal; an aperture which is included in the imaging optical system and which includes an opening to restrict the light flux; a controller which performs a first exposure control to control the exposure of the image sensor by changing the opening of the aperture and calculates, based on an imaging signal output by the image sensor, a deviation between an optimal exposure amount and a currently set actual exposure amount; and an imaging control circuit which performs a second exposure control to control the exposure of the image sensor without changing the opening of the aperture, wherein the controller selects either the first exposure control or the second exposure control based on the deviation to control exposure.
