System and method for providing imaging parameters
A system having an X-ray imaging device for capturing an X-ray image on an imaging film, and a device for reading out the imaging film. The imaging film includes a data carrier, and the X-ray imaging device and/or the readout device includes a data device that has a write/read device for writing, on the data carrier, imaging parameters relating to the X-ray image capture and for reading information that is stored on the data carrier, the write/read device being configured to transmit the read information to the readout device such that the imaging parameters in force when capturing the X-ray image are available to the readout device for an imaging film readout. A method for providing information for a readout device is also provided.
Storage phosphor plate assembly, X-ray cassette and system for reading out storage phosphor plates
A storage phosphor plate assembly includes at least one storage phosphor plate having a storage phosphor layer for storing X-ray information and a substrate layer on which the storage phosphor layer is provided. The substrate layer contains a permanent magnetic material, and a support plate contains a magnetic material, the at least one storage phosphor plate being held on the support plate due to magnetic forces. The invention further relates to an X ray cassette and a system for reading out storage phosphor plate. An easy and safe handling of storage phosphor plates of various sizes and/or forms, in particular during the read-out process in the read-out system, is achieved.
Systems, devices, and methods for lowering dental x-ray dosage including feedback sensors
Systems, devices, and methods are described for providing, among other things, an intra-oral x-ray imaging system configured to reduce patient exposure to x-rays, reduce amount of scatter, transmission, or re-radiation during imaging, or improve x-ray image quality. In an embodiment, an intra-oral x-ray imaging system includes an intra-oral x-ray sensor configured to communicate intra-oral x-ray sensor position information or intra-oral x-ray sensor orientation information to a remote x-ray source.
X-ray film image marker
The x-ray film image marker is a device that is adapted for use with an x-ray portable cassette in order to provide the image marker capability that is used in conjunction with taking an x-ray, but also enabling a technician the ability to locate a misplaced x-ray film image marker. The x-ray film image marker includes at least one light member that illuminates or flashes for a pre-determined amount of time upon depression of an on/off button. The at least one light member aids in location of the x-ray film image marker in a poorly lit environment. The at least one speaker may be used to play an audio file in order to aid in location of the x-ray film image marker in a poorly lit environment.
Radiographic marker that displays an angle in degrees on portable X-rays
The present invention provides methods/techniques and apparatus for displaying an angulation of a cassette and thus a patient at a time when an x-ray image is taken to provide for a better comparison of day to day improvement of the patient. More specifically, the present invention, allows a movable object to roll freely within in a passageway within an enclosure in relation to an angulation of a cassette. In order to correlate the position of the movable object in the enclosure with the angle at which the cassette is currently placed, a plurality of markers are disposed in or protruded from the inner surface of the passageway. Based upon the position of the movable object in relation to a particular marker at the time an x-ray is taken, the user can identify the angulation at which the cassette is currently positioned.
