Electronic apparatus with accessory shoe device and accessory attachable to accessory shoe device
An electronic apparatus that is capable of reducing occurrence of malfunction when an accessory is attached without enlarging an accessory shoe device. The electronic apparatus includes an accessory shoe device and a controller. The accessory shoe device is electrically connectable with an accessory and has terminals that are arranged in a line in a first direction that intersects perpendicularly with an attaching direction of the accessory. The controller is electrically connected to the terminals. At least one of the terminals differs from the other terminals in a length of an externally exposed part in a second direction that intersects perpendicularly with both the attaching direction and the first direction.
Camera enclosures and end effectors
Various embodiments of enclosures for machine-vision cameras are disclosed. The enclosures are designed to fit\hug the camera to be as small as physically possible, and also integrate other features such as better cabling, IP-67 compliance, and end-effectors. Further, the embodiments herein have also integrated a way to mount extra lights as part of the design. The embodiments herein accommodate the specific need of the particular application. The embodiments herein can accommodate numerous shapes and sizes of cameras, including square, cylindrical, or cubical cameras, and encompass either rectangular or round enclosures.

An oral photography system and method can include: a chassis, the chassis including a chassis base and a vertical chassis extension, the vertical chassis extension extending upward from the chassis base, and the vertical chassis extension including: a magnetic clamp having a first clamping element for securing an imaging device to the vertical chassis extension, the imaging device including a second clamping element, a diffusion panel attachment coupled to the vertical chassis extension, and a light panel attachment coupled to the vertical chassis extension; a diffusion panel releasably affixed to the diffusion panel attachment; and a light panel releasably affixed to the light panel attachment.
System and Method for Improving a Photographic Camera Feature on a Portable Electronic Device
A system and method is provided for using a case and/or skin having various components for improving and/or enhancing a camera (e.g., photographic, video, etc.) feature of a portable electronic device, such as a smartphone. The system preferably includes a case and/or skin having a lens (e.g., focusable lens) that is aligned with a lens on the smartphone, a light (e.g., a flash, etc.), and at least one shutter release button. An application operating on the smartphone may then be used to control the light (or flash) and to capture an image in response to a user depressing the shutter release button. Communications between the smartphone and the case can be accomplished via either a wired or wireless communication link, which may involve the inclusion of at least one transceiver (e.g., Bluetooth transceiver) and/or processor on the case.
ILLUMINATION DEVICE AND IMAGING DEVICE
A lighting device is provided in which a head part is allowed to be driven relative to a main unit in a horizontal circular direction and in a vertical circular direction separately without the need for increasing a space for the layout of the main unit and the like. The lighting device of the present invention includes a driving unit (7) connecting a main unit (3) and a head part (6). The driving unit (7) includes first and second motors, a first power transmission mechanism that rotates the driving unit (7) in a horizontal circular direction (the direction of an arrow F) with the driving force of the first motor, and a second power transmission mechanism that rotates the driving unit (7) in a vertical circular direction (the direction of an arrow B) with the driving force of the second motor. With this configuration, the head part (6) is allowed to be driven relative to the main unit (3) in the horizontal circular direction and the vertical circular direction separately, without the need for increasing a space for the layout of the main unit (3) and the like.
Accessory Strobe Interface
An accessory strobe device for a mobile device may operate to provide illumination at the same time as an internal built-in strobe (flash) of the mobile device. The accessory strobe device may receive a single, unidirectional signal from the mobile device that provides signals related to the timing of the internal strobe. The accessory strobe device may process the received signal to control its illumination using the timing and relative intensity levels of the internal strobe during metering and main (normal) flash operations associated with a camera on the mobile device. With the accessory strobe device operating using timing and relative intensity levels in a predetermined relationship with the timing and relative intensity levels of the internal strobe, the accessory strobe device may be used to complement the internal strobe during the metering and main (normal) flash operations for the camera.
IMAGING UNIT AND COMPONENT MOUNTING MACHINE
An imaging unit of the disclosure includes: a camera; a holding member configured to hold an imaging target object to be imaged by the camera; a light irradiation device configured to irradiate lights of different wavelengths from multiple light sources towards the imaging target object held by the holding member; and a control device configured to obtain a proper resolving power value for a light or lights of one or more light sources selected from the multiple light sources for use for imaging, irradiate the light or lights of the one or more light sources so selected onto the imaging target object to image the imaging target object using the camera, and make use of the proper resolving power value in processing an image obtained from the camera.
Mechanism and system for attaching an external flash to a camera, and a flash
The present invention relates to a mechanism and system for attaching an external flash to a camera, and a flash. The connection mechanism comprises: a body, a connecting foot and at least two groups of electrical contacts for touching contacts of hot shoes of at least two differing types of cameras for connecting an external flash control unit; when a flash provided with the mechanism for attaching an external flash to a camera as disclosed in the present invention is mounted on a camera, the corresponding group of electrical contacts touch each other to transmit signals. Since at least two groups of electrical contacts are provided, the flash is capable of being applied to cameras of two differing types, and further facilitating users and saving costs.
System and Method for Playing a File on a Remote Device
A system and method is provided for using a case having various components for playing a file (e.g., image, video, etc.) on a remote device (e.g., a television, etc.), wherein the case (or a portion thereof) is adjacent a portable electronic device, such as a smartphone. The case preferably includes a wireless charging mechanism for wirelessly charging a battery on the portable electronic device, a memory for storing at least one file, a transceiver for transmitting the file to a remote device for presentation to a user, and a processor in communication with at least the memory and the transceiver, wherein the processor is controlled by an application operating on the portable electronic device and the application is configured (e.g., in response to user input) to transmit the file (a) from the portable electronic device to the case and (b) from the case to the remote device, for presentation thereon.
