Mounting system with break away interface
A mount for joining a base object to an ancillary object is provided. The mount includes a top layer, a bottom layer, a key, a lock and a collar. The top layer is engaged to the ancillary object and the key extends therefrom. The bottom layer is engaged to the base object. The lock is a recess defined by the bottom layer and has a shape complimentary to that of the key such that the lock and key are mechanically and removeably engaged to one another. The collar extends from a top end to a bottom end. The top end is fixedly engaged to the top layer and the bottom end is fixedly engaged to the bottom layer. The collar is disposed about the lock and the key. The mount may be configured for electrical and mechanical communication and may include an interface for communication with a camera hot shoe.
Low-Glare Fluorescent-Powder LED Light Device and Imaging Device Comprising the Same
A low-glare fluorescent-powder LED light device includes a shell, a multi-frequency directional light source, a high-frequency directional light source, and an electrical control circuit. The shell has a surrounding wall, which defines a front opening and a rear opening and has an inner surface extending along a central axis. The multi-frequency directional light source, including at least one fluorescent-powder LED, is disposed at the inner surface of the shell. The high-frequency directional light source, including a plurality of high-frequency LEDs, is disposed at the inner surface of the shell such that the high-frequency LEDs are arranged in radial symmetry about the central axis. The electrical control circuit can drive the multi-frequency directional light source and/or the high-frequency directional light source. The central light beams emitting from the high-frequency LEDs do not reach the fluorescent-powder LED, so that the fluorescence interference of the fluorescent-powder LED can be avoided.

System and method for improving a photographic camera feature on a portable electronic device
A system and method is provided for using a case and/or skin having various components for improving and/or enhancing a camera (e.g., photographic, video, etc.) feature of a portable electronic device, such as a smartphone. The system preferably includes a case and/or skin having a lens (e.g., telescopic lens) that is aligned with a lens on the smartphone. A motor controlled by an application operating on the smartphone may then be used to adjust the focal point of the lens on the case. This can be accomplished via either a wired or wireless communication link, which may involve the inclusion of at least one transceiver (e.g., Bluetooth transceiver) and/or processor on the case. In certain embodiments, the case may also include a flash controlled via the application operating on the smartphone, a memory for storing captured images (or video), and/or a rechargeable battery.
IMAGE PROJECTION DEVICE
An image projection device is disclosed having a body defining an aperture that includes a slide frame receiving slot that is transverse to the aperture and a magnifying lens positioned in alignment with the aperture at the front of the body. The image projection device can be attached to a mobile device and uses the camera flash of the mobile device to provide the light source to illuminate a slide transparency. The mobile device can identify a particular slide transparency through information encoded on the slide frame in order to coordinate audio or video output with the projected slide.
Multi-function portable lighting apparatus
A multi-function portable lighting apparatus is provided, including a lighting device, a carrier unit and a support unit. The carrier unit has two ends, with one end disposed with lighting device and the other coupled with support unit. The support unit includes a battery set, supplying power to lighting device. The carrier unit includes a clamping assembly, and the clamping assembly has a clamping opening, with direction perpendicular to light projection axis of lighting device. The clamping assembly includes a clamping base, a clamping element and a rotation element. The rotation element matches the clamping element in a means of screw. When the rotation element rotates, the clamping element moves in clamping base linearly to open or close clamping opening. The apparatus can be used as a flashlight or clamping onto a smart phone to provide lighting when the ambient light is insufficient for photography.
Accessory shoe device to which accessory is attached, image pickup apparatus, and accessory
An accessory shoe device enabling multi-polarization of a connector for connection to an accessory without degrading the versatility thereof. The accessory is attached to an engagement member. A signal terminal connector has contacts arranged in a lateral direction orthogonal to an attaching direction. A pair of first engagement portions in the engagement member are spaced by a first width in the lateral direction, and a pair of second engagement portions in the engagement member are spaced by a second width larger than the first width. The signal terminal connector is disposed forward of the first engagement portions in the attaching direction. A length of the signal terminal connector in the lateral direction is larger than the first width and smaller than the second width. The second engagement portions are formed rearward of the first engagement portions in the attaching direction.
360-DEGREE PRODUCTION LIGHT
In an embodiment of the present invention, a production light is provided to be attached to the bottom of a camera, via a threaded aperture, typically used to mount a camera to a tripod. The production light is configured to emit light about a 360-degree angle via a light emitting diode (LED) array.
SHOE APPARATUS, ACCESSORY, ACCESSORY SHOE APPARATUS, AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
A shoe apparatus includes an engagement portion with an accessory shoe apparatus included in an electronic apparatus, a plurality of connection terminals, where a first direction is an attachment direction to the accessory shoe apparatus, which are arranged in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and located on a front side of the engagement portion in the attachment direction, and a connector that includes protrusion portions that protrude in a third direction orthogonal to the first and second directions on both outer sides of the plurality of connection terminals in the second direction. The protrusion portion includes a slope portion on a side that does not face the plurality of connection terminals such that a width in the second direction at a position of a tip in the third direction is narrower than a width at a position away from the tip.
FLASHLIGHT
Disclosed is a flashlight. The flashlight includes a rotating shaft assembly, a lamp head assembly, a control assembly and a damping member. The lamp head assembly is rotatably installed on the rotating shaft assembly; the control assembly is connected to the rotating shaft assembly; and the damping member is provided between the lamp head assembly and the rotating shaft assembly. The damping member is configured to increase a resistance to a rotation of the lamp head assembly relative to the rotating shaft assembly.
