Provided are a setting support apparatus capable of reducing a workload in lighting setting for an illumination device, an image processing system, and a setting support program. A user interface for performing lighting setting with respect to an illumination device includes a lighting region receiving region that receives setting of a region to be turned on, and a light emitting intensity receiving region that receives setting of light emitting intensity for each light source. In addition, the user interface includes a setting content displaying region that graphically displays a setting content.

LED FLASH RING SURROUNDING CAMERA LENS

A flash system for an electronic device includes a ring-shaped light guide having a central opening. A camera lens is positioned in or behind the opening. A first light emittting diode (LED) is mounted on a printed circuit board (PCB), and the LED and PCB are encapsulated by a molded light guide of the flash system. An identical LED and PCB are encapsulated at an opposite end of the molded light guide (i.e., 180 degrees away). The back surfaces of each PCB diffusively reflects light from the LED on the other PCB. Light extraction features on the light guide surface uniformly leak out light from the LEDs. The light emission profile of the light guide has a peak axially aligned with the central opening of the light guide and rolls off to the edge of the camera's field of view.

In one example, a case that is configured to be removably attached to a smartphone includes a back panel that substantially covers a back face of the smartphone when the case is attached to the smartphone, the case defining a first opening configured and arranged so that when the case is attached to the smartphone, part of a display of the smartphone is visible by way of the first opening, and the case further including one or more light sources positioned along a side edge of the first opening, and the one or more light sources operable to illuminate part of an area to be imaged by a front-facing camera of the smartphone, and the back panel has a second opening that is aligned with a rear-facing camera of the smartphone when the case is attached to the smartphone, and the case further includes an electrical connector.

LIGHT MODIFIERS FOR PHOTOGRAPHY
20240152036 · 2024-05-09 · ·

Light modification devices for photography, videography, or other image capturing systems which provide methods for diffusing and shaping light from flash lighting or continuous light sources to create a diffused 360 degree thin plane of light around a subject. The light modification devices are capable of producing lighting conditions that can accentuate raised textures and depth of a subject without casting hard shadows with minimal light seepage outside of the plane.

Imager with lens focusing unit

Systems and methods for adjusting one or more settings, such as the focus and/or aperture settings, for the lenses enclosed within the imager. The imager may include a base, one or more arms, a lens assembly, and a light source assembly. The lens assembly may be clamped between the base and the light source assembly such that the components within the lens assembly are hermetically sealed and thus protected against intrusion from water and/or air borne particles. The imager may include one or more components to change the settings for the enclosed lenses. The components may include an internal ring that may be used to manipulate the lens, where the internal ring is coupled to an external ring that is accessible to a user. The components may include a motor that controls one or more gears that are coupled to the internal ring that is used to manipulate the lens.

Flash tube providing a flat peak synchronized output

Flash tubes for photographic use, in particular, a flash tube is adapted to provide a light output adapted to FP-sync, Flat Peak. The flash tube includes a length of glass tubing enclosing a gas for use in the flash tube, a cathode inside a first end part of glass tubing and an anode inside a second end part of glass tubing. The cathode includes an element that helps to ionize the gas that is wound around the cathode, such that a spark stream starts from the upper part of the cathode and is prevented from spreading down wards on the cathode and changing the arc length during the light output adapted to FP-sync.

Low-glare fluorescent-powder LED light device and imaging device comprising the same
10295887 · 2019-05-21 · ·

A low-glare fluorescent-powder LED light device includes a shell, a multi-frequency directional light source, a high-frequency directional light source, and an electrical control circuit. The shell has a surrounding wall, which defines a front opening and a rear opening and has an inner surface extending along a central axis. The multi-frequency directional light source, including at least one fluorescent-powder LED, is disposed at the inner surface of the shell. The high-frequency directional light source, including a plurality of high-frequency LEDs, is disposed at the inner surface of the shell such that the high-frequency LEDs are arranged in radial symmetry about the central axis. The electrical control circuit can drive the multi-frequency directional light source and/or the high-frequency directional light source. The central light beams emitting from the high-frequency LEDs do not reach the fluorescent-powder LED, so that the fluorescence interference of the fluorescent-powder LED can be avoided.
