An absorbent pad for use in a garment is disclosed. The absorbent pad includes a liquid impermeable barrier layer and a functional layer disposed adjacent to the barrier layer, the functional layer having a liquid absorbent component. The absorbent pad also includes a first attaching element coupled to a periphery of the functional layer and a periphery of the barrier layer; and a second attaching element having a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion coupled to the first attaching element. The second portion of the second attaching element is arranged to be attached to a fabric body of the garment, thereby attaching the absorbent pad to the garment. The absorbent pad is washable and reusable.

At least one layer of neoprene is securely fastened to the lining. The layer of neoprene extends from a left side of the chest portion to a right side of the chest portion and is located at an area of the chest portion nearest to a clavicle of a wearer of the protective shirt. The layer of neoprene includes a plurality of spaced-apart segments of the layer of neoprene. The protective shirt includes a neoprene neck pad. Embodiments of the protective shirt include cap-sleeve, short sleeve, long sleeve, sleeveless, and tank top versions. In one embodiment, the garment material includes nylon and spandex.

Male Underwear Garment with Protective Flap
The present invention relates to a male underwear garment with an attached protective fabric attachment. The fabric attachment can be integrated to the inner lining of a male underwear garment during manufacturing and functions as a barrier between the male reproductive organ of the wearer and clothing during and after urinating. The attachment prevents urine droplets from staining clothing during and after male urination. The attachment can be stitched into the underwear liner and can be pulled out (i.e. deployed) to cover a front portion of clothing to prevent urine droplets from staining the clothing.
Underwear Garment having a Detachable Absorbent Pad
The present disclosure provides an underwear garment comprising a crotch lining having an absorbent pad which is machine washable, and which is detachably connected to the underwear garment by a plurality of snap fittings on the inner surface of the crotch region of the garment. The garment may also be provided as a kit with a plurality of such machine-washable crotch linings. The undergarment is thereby designed to absorb secretions from menstruating women, women with postpartum bleeding, and men or women with urinary incontinence.
