A toner includes toner particles. Each of the toner particles includes a composite core and a shell layer covering a surface of the composite core. Each of the composite cores is a composite of a toner core and foamable particles provided on a surface of the toner core. An amount of the foamable particles is at least 0.3% by mass relative to mass of the toner cores. Each of the foamable particles includes a base particle and a coat layer covering a surface of the base particle. The base particles are non-foamable. The coat layers include a foamable group. The foamable group is bonded to the surfaces of the base particles through a bond including a bond represented by formula OSi.

Toner and method for producing toner
A toner comprising a toner particle comprising a binder resin and a wax, wherein the binder resin comprises an amorphous polyester resin and a polymer A, contents of the amorphous polyester resin and the polymer A in the binder resin are within specific ranges, the polymer A comprises a first monomer unit in which ester (meth)acrylates comprising 18 to 36 carbon atoms are polymerized, a content ratio of the first monomer unit in the polymer A is within specific range, the toner comprises a matrix-domain structure comprising a matrix comprising the amorphous polyester resin and domains, and the domains comprise a domain A comprising at least 80 mass % of the polymer A and a domain B comprising at least 80 mass % of the wax.
Toner for developing electrostatic images
There is provided a toner for developing electrostatic images, including an external additive and colored resin particles containing a binder resin, a colorant and softening agents. The colored resin particles contain a monoester compound A represented by formula (1) and a monoester compound B represented by formula (2) as softening agents. A content of the monoester compound A is in the range from 95 to 99% by mass, a content of the monoester compound B is in the range from 1 to 5% by mass, and a content of the softening agents is in the range from 10 to 30 parts by mass, with respect to 100 parts by mass of the binder resin. Formula (1) is R.sup.1COOR.sup.2. Formula (2) is R.sup.3COOR.sup.4.
Liquid developer
A liquid developer containing toner particles containing a resin and a pigment, wherein the toner particles are dispersed in an insulating liquid, wherein the resin contains a resin H having a softening point of 100 C. or higher and a resin L having a softening point of 93 C. or lower, wherein the resin H is a composite resin HC of a polyester resin and a styrenic resin, and the resin L is a polyester resin LP or a composite resin LC of a polyester resin and a styrenic resin, wherein the composite resin HC and the composite resin LC are each a resin in which a polyester resin and a styrenic resin are chemically bonded via a dually reactive monomer, and a method for producing the same. The liquid developer of the present invention is suitably used in development or the like of latent images formed in, for example, electrophotography, electrostatic recording method, electrostatic printing method or the like.
Electrophotographic composition
The present disclosure relates to an electrophotographic composition that comprises a polymer resin mixture and a liquid carrier. The polymer resin mixture comprises (i) an olefin polymer A having acid and/or ester side groups and a melt index of 22 to 100 g/10 min; and (ii) an olefin polymer B having a melt index of 1 to 20 g/10 min. The olefin polymer B forms 1 to 50 weight % of the polymer resin mixture.
Method for producing a toner
Disclosed is a method for producing a toner comprising combining a binder resin, a wax, a negatively-chargeable charge control resin and a colorant to form the toner, prior to said combining, the negatively-chargeable charge control resin is obtained by drying treatment conducted for 2 to 24 hours under conditions of a drying temperature of 45 to 80 C. and a pressure of 0.5 to 20 kPa, wherein the negatively-chargeable charge control resin comprises a monomer unit having a functional group that imparts a negative charging property, a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon monomer unit, and a (meth)acrylate monomer unit.
