An image forming method forms a color toner image and a white toner image using an image forming apparatus having a plurality of developing machines. The color toner image is formed using a color developer containing a first carrier and at least one color toner selected from a yellow toner, a magenta toner, and a cyan toner. The white toner image is formed using a white developer containing a second carrier and a white toner containing at least titanium oxide as a pigment. Formula (1):
Iw<Ic(1)
is satisfied. Ic (A) is a dynamic current value of the first carrier at 100 V and Iw (A) is a dynamic current value of the second carrier at 100 V.

Toner set, image forming apparatus, and image forming method

A toner set includes a brilliant toner including a brilliant pigment; and a chromatic toner including a coloring agent that is different from the brilliant pigment, wherein the toner set satisfies the following expression:
1.2Q1/Q25.0
wherein Q1 represents an endothermic quantity of the brilliant toner and Q2 represents an endothermic quantity of the chromatic toner.

IMAGE FORMING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

An image forming device includes a brilliant image forming section, a non-brilliant image forming section, and a control section. When an image is formed on a medium by superimposing a brilliant image with an image density of 100% on a non-brilliant image, the control section controls the brilliant image forming section and the non-brilliant image forming section so as to make them form the brilliant image whose image density is a first image density if saturation of the non-brilliant image is first saturation and make them form the brilliant image whose image density is a second image density lower than the first image density if the saturation of the non-brilliant image is second saturation higher than the first saturation.

Producing Identity Markers by Electrostatic Printing

In a general aspect, identity markers containing identity-forming particles are created by electrostatic printing processes. In some aspects, a toner mixture is received on an electrostatically charged surface of an image transfer drum in an electrostatic printer system. The toner mixture includes fusible particles and diamond particles. The toner mixture is held to the electrostatically charged surface by an electrostatic force. The toner mixture is transferred onto a substrate from the electrostatically charged surface of the image transfer drum. The toner mixture is bonded to the substrate by operation of a fuser assembly of the electrostatic printer system. When the toner mixture is bonded onto the substrate, the fusible particles fuse to each other, thereby forming a host matrix that secures the diamond particles at fixed locations in the host matrix.
