IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus is configured to calculate an estimated value of a color misregistration amount based on a first estimation expression when a temperature of an exposure device is under a temperature increasing state. The image forming apparatus is configured to calculate the estimated value of the color misregistration amount based on the first estimation expression when the temperature of the exposure device is under the temperature decreasing state and the exposure device is not in a thermally-deformed state. The image forming apparatus is configured to calculate the estimated value of the color misregistration amount based on a second estimation expression when the temperature of the exposure device is in the temperature decreasing state and the exposure device is in the thermally-deformed state. The image forming apparatus is configured to correct color misregistration based on the calculated estimated value.
TECHNIQUE FOR IDENTIFYING REFLECTIVE SURFACE OF ROTATING POLYGONAL MIRROR
An apparatus identifies reflective surfaces used for scanning a first photosensitive member and a second photosensitive member. A first storage stores correction data corresponding to each of reflective surfaces of a first rotating polygonal mirror. A first correction unit corrects, on a basis of the correction data and information indicating the reflective surface, image data in association with the reflective surface. A second storage stores correction data corresponding to each of reflective surfaces of a second rotating polygonal mirror. A second correction unit corrects, on a basis of the correction data and information indicating the reflective surface, image data in association with the reflective surface.
Electrophotographic image forming apparatus
Provided is a means in which in a tandem type electrophotographic image forming apparatus, image deletion of a formed image is suppressed, passing through of a toner is suppressed, and the lifetime of an organic photoreceptor and the apparatus itself is prolonged. The invention relates to a tandem type electrophotographic image forming apparatus using an organic photoreceptor in which at least a charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer are sequentially laminated on a conductive support body, in which in at least one of combinations of two adjacent image forming units including toners having colors different from each other, a linear pressure P1 of a cleaning blade A included in the image forming unit disposed on an upstream side, and a linear pressure P2 of a cleaning unit blade B included in the image forming unit disposed on a downstream side, satisfy a predetermined relationship.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a laser scanner unit configured to deflect a laser beam with a reflection surface of a polygon mirror to scan a photosensitive drum, an engine controller, and an image controller. The engine controller generates an image formation BD signal synchronized with a BD signal output from the laser scanner unit. The image controller masks an assertion period of the image formation BD signal, and determines a specific reflation face based on the masked assertion period. The image controller sets a mask period of the image formation BD signal at the time of the specific reflation face to be longer than a mask period at the time of another reflation face. The image controller corrects image data based on the identified reflection face to control image forming processing.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus according to the present embodiment comprises: a dither processing unit that applies a dither matrix to an image; an exposure unit that exposes an photosensitive drum to form an electrostatic latent image, based on the image to which the dither matrix has been applied; a development unit that develops, using a developing material on a developing roller, the formed electrostatic latent image; and a control unit that, based on a print setting change instruction by a user, increases a circumferential speed of the developing roller relative to the circumferential speed of the photosensitive drum and decreases a screen ruling of the dither matrix to be applied by the dither processing unit.
Leaf spring, housing, light scanning apparatus, and image forming apparatus
A leaf spring configured to mount an optical element to a housing, the housing containing: a rotary polygon mirror configured to deflect a laser beam emitted from a light source; and the optical element configured to guide the laser beam deflected by the rotary polygon mirror to a member to be scanned, wherein an adhesive is applied to the leaf spring, the adhesive being configured to adhere separated material scraped from the housing, the separated material being scraped from the housing by rubbing between the leaf spring and the housing at a time of mounting the optical element to the housing.
Image forming apparatus with controlled start-up of scanning motor
An image forming apparatus: includes a developing member to be movable between a development position where the developing member contacts an image bearing member and a separated position where the developing member is separated from the image bearing member; and a control portion controls the number of rotations of a drive portion by causing a light source to emit a light beam when a rotating polygon mirror starts to rotate, and detecting the light beam emitted from the light source by a detecting portion, wherein when the rotating polygon mirror starts to rotate, the light beam does not enter an image region of the image bearing member and the light beam is detected outside the image region of the image bearing member by the detecting portion, in a state of the developing member having moved from the separating position to the development position.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING OPTICAL PRINT HEAD
In an image forming apparatus, if a path for transferring heat generated by a drive integrated circuit to a frame (a heat dissipation plate) of an apparatus main body has a point that divides the path, foreign matter such as dirt and dust can be caught at the point, so that heat dissipation efficiency can decrease due to presence of such foreign matter. Therefore, a configuration is provided in which a drive integrated circuit and a frame (a heat dissipation plate) provided in a cover are connected by a heat transfer member, so that a heat transfer path from the drive integrated circuit to the frame has no point that divides the path.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS CAPABLE OF SUPPRESSING VIBRATION TRANSMISSION TO EXPOSURE UNIT
An image forming apparatus includes a housing frame, an image forming unit, a registration unit, and an exposure unit. The housing frame forms a skeleton of a housing. The image forming unit has a photoconductor drum. The registration unit performs skew correction of a sheet. The exposure unit exposes the photoconductor drum. In the image forming apparatus, the registration unit and the exposure unit are adjacent within the housing frame. The registration unit is attached to the housing frame via a pair of flat plates. The registration unit is supported by a plurality of elastic pieces bent up from the pair of flat plates.
