Developer cartridge with counting mechanism
The invention provides a developer cartridge with a counting mechanism. The developer cartridge comprises a developer and the counting mechanism, wherein the counting mechanism is provided with protrusions which come in contact with a contact lever on an electronic photographing device so as to count the developer cartridge; and each protrusion has a first position and a second position in the direction perpendicular to a side wall of the developer cartridge, and is, in the first position, in contact with the contact lever, but is not, in the second position, in contact with the contact lever. The working principle of the developer cartridge adopting the counting mechanism is greatly different from the prior art. Therefore, the structure of the counting mechanism of the developer cartridge is simpler and more convenient and reliable; the production precision and the production cost are reduced; and the market competitiveness of the developer cartridge is improved.
Cartridge, process cartridge and electrophotographic image forming apparatus
A cartridge detachably mountable to a main assembly of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, the cartridge includes (i) a rotatable developing roller for developing a latent image formed on a photosensitive member; (ii) a first drive transmission member capable of receiving a rotational force originated by the main assembly; (iii) a second drive transmission member capable of coupling with the first drive transmission member and capable of transmitting the rotational force received by the first drive transmission member to the developing roller; and (iv) a coupling disconnection member including a force receiving portion capable of receiving the force originated by the main assembly, and an urging portion capable of urging at least one of the first drive transmission member and the second drive transmission member by the force received by the force receiving portion to separate one of the first drive transmission member and the second drive transmission member from the other, thereby disconnecting the coupling.
Image forming device
An image forming device, including: a housing; a drawer movable between an inside position at which the drawer is located inside the housing and an outside position at which the drawer is located outside the housing; a drum cartridge including a photoconductive drum and a developer roller and mountable on the drawer; a toner cartridge storing toner to be supplied to the developer roller and mountable on the drawer, wherein the drawer includes a first guide that guides the toner cartridge in mounting the toner cartridge on the drawer, and wherein the drum cartridge includes a second guide connected to the first guide in a state in which the drum cartridge is mounted on the drawer, the second guide being configured to guide the toner cartridge in mounting the toner cartridge on the drawer in the state in which the drum cartridge is mounted on the drawer.
DEVELOPING CARTRIDGE INCLUDING INCLINED SURFACE MOVABLE TOGETHER WITH CASING AND DEVELOPING ROLLER RELATIVE TO PHOTOSENSITIVE DRUM
The developing cartridge includes a casing, a developing roller, and a first inclined surface. The first inclined surface is positioned at an outer surface of one end portion of the casing in the second direction. The first inclined surface is fixed to the casing and is inclined relative to the first direction. The first inclined surface is movable in the first direction relative to the photosensitive drum between a first position and a second position together with the casing and the developing roller in a state where the developing cartridge 1 is attached to a drum cartridge. In a state where the first inclined surface is at the first position, the developing roller is in contact with the photosensitive drum. In a state where the first inclined surface is at the second position, the developing roller is in separation from the photosensitive drum.
DEVELOPMENT DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMATION APPARATUS
A development device may include: a development device body; a developer cartridge detachably attached to the development device body; first and second lavers provided to the development device body, the first lever including an operation part and a first engagement portion and a second lever including a second engagement portion; first and second engaged portions provided to the developer cartridge, the first engaged portion being configured to form a first engagement with the first engagement portion and the second engaged portion being configured to form a second engagement with the second engagement portion; and a first biasing member biasing the first engagement portion to the first engaged portion. When the operation part is operated with a first pressing force, the first engagement is released, and when the operation part is operated with a second pressing force greater than the first pressing force, the first and second engagements are released.
Developing cartridge including shaft and cam having cam surface
A developing cartridge includes: a casing; a developing roller; a shaft; and a cam. The casing is configured to accommodate developer therein. The developing roller is rotatable about a first axis extending in an axial direction. The shaft extends along a second axis extending in the axial direction. The shaft is movable along the second axis. The cam is movable along the second axis in response to axial movement of the shaft. The cam has a cam surface non-parallel with the second axis.
BINARY INK DEVELOPER ASSEMBLY INCLUDING SLOTS HAVING A SLOT ANGLE CORRESPONDING TO A PRESSURE ANGLE
A binary ink developer assembly includes a plurality of rollers, gears, and end caps. The rollers are in contact with each other to form a nip. Each roller includes a plurality of bearings. The gears include gear teeth. A respective gear has an involute tooth profile and applies a gear force at a pressure angle corresponding to the involute tooth profile to rotate at least one roller. The end caps are coupled to the bearings. At least one slot arranged to form a slot angle substantially equal to the pressure angle and to receive a respective bearing to support a respective roller.
