IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
There is provided an image forming apparatus that is capable of forming an image on a continuous paper, and the image forming apparatus includes: an image former including an image carrier on which a toner image is formed as being driven; and a hardware processor that controls conveyance of the continuous paper and driving of the image carrier, wherein the hardware processor starts the conveyance of the continuous paper while stopping the drive of the image carrier.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes an image former, an informing unit, and a hardware processor. The image former prints an image on continuous paper by: forming an electrostatic latent image on an image holder based on image information of a job; developing the electrostatic latent image with toner, thereby forming a toner image on the image holder; and transferring the toner image onto the continuous paper. Based on the image information of the job, the hardware processor calculates a coverage of the image to be printed on the continuous paper. Based on the calculated coverage, the hardware processor determines a continuously printable distance on the continuous paper. The hardware processor causes the informing unit to inform a user of the continuously printable distance before the image former starts the printing.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a conveying unit conveying a recoding medium on which labels are placed, a sensor detecting each of the labels, an image forming unit performing an image forming process at an image forming position, and a control unit adjusting the image forming position for the labels by synchronizing with a cycle with respect to label pitch based on the detection result by the sensor, the cycle with respect to label pitch being determined with a repeating unit that is composed with a predetermined number of the labels that is more than one, and the label pitch being determined by two of the labels adjoining in the conveying direction.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus comprises a conveying member configured to convey paper along a paper path, an image reading unit configured to read a surface of the paper conveyed by the conveying member along the paper path, and a color sample member. The conveying member, the image reading unit, and the color sample member have a first arrangement in which the image reading unit reads the surface of the paper conveyed by the conveying member along the paper path. The conveying member, the image reading unit, and the color sample member have a second arrangement in which the image reading unit reads the color sample member. The conveying member is configured to change the paper path in front of the image reading unit for switching from the first arrangement to the second arrangement.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND STORAGE MEDIUM STORING CONTROL PROGRAM FOR IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus according to the present invention includes a first conveyance member, a second conveyance member, and a controller. The first conveyance member and the second conveyance member convey a continuous sheet. The controller determines whether a second conveyance speed which is a conveyance speed of the continuous sheet conveyed by the first conveyance member and the second conveyance member can be detected normally on the basis of a first conveyance speed which is a conveyance speed of the continuous sheet conveyed by the first conveyance member.
IN-LINE PRINTING CALIBRATION
In one example of the disclosure, a first print engine is caused to print a first image in a first set of sectors of a substrate. A second print engine is caused to print a second image in a second set of sectors of the substrate. The second print engine is caused to print a cover-up image over an incidence of the first image printed by the first print engine. The second print engine is caused to print a calibration image upon the cover-up image.
Roll-paper printing apparatus, printing control program, and printing control method
A roll-paper printing apparatus includes a paper feeder that feeds roll paper, a printer that forms an image based on a job on the roll paper, an image scanner that scans the image formed on the roll paper, and a reeler that reels the roll paper, and the roll-paper printing apparatus includes a hardware processor that acquires the image scanned by the image scanner and detects an abnormal output in comparison between the image based on the job and the scanned image, and determines whether output of the job continues or stops, in accordance with a previously set condition, wherein, when the roll paper is cut in a passage direction of the roll paper into a plurality of lanes arrayed in a width direction of the roll paper, the hardware processor continues, in a case where the abnormal output is detected on a lane, the output of the job.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus, having feeder tray, a multipurpose tray arranged on a first side surface, a first conveyer path, a second conveyer path, a third conveyer path, and a fourth conveyer path, is provided. A nip position between paired registration rollers is located to be lower than a nip position between a separation roller and a separator member. A tangent that contacts circumferential surfaces of the paired registration rollers at the nip position between paired registration rollers inclines to be lower toward a second side surface opposite from the multipurpose tray. The second conveyer path inclines to be lower toward the second side surface in a range between a merging point merging with the fourth conveyer path and the nip position between the paired registration rollers.
ADJUSTING POSITIONS OF IMAGES
According to some examples, a method comprises successively transferring a series of images from an imaging surface to an intermediate transfer member, ITM, then from the ITM to positions on a web substrate. The method may comprise intermittently adjusting a position at which particular images are transferred to the ITM by a first defined distance laterally across the ITM and by a second defined distance longitudinally with respect to the ITM. The method may comprise adjusting a position at which the particular images are transferred to the web substrate by approximately the first defined distance laterally relative to the ITM and by approximately the second defined distance longitudinally relative to the ITM. The method may comprise, after a first defined number of intermittent position adjustments, changing a direction in which the position is adjusted. A print apparatus and a machine-readable medium are also disclosed.
Image forming apparatus
In an image forming apparatus, when a fixing device is in a non-fixing state and a transfer device is in a non-transfer state, an ejection device increases a conveying force by a pair of ejection rollers as compared to the conveying force in the fixing state. According to this image forming apparatus, a printing object can be stably conveyed even when a pair of rollers of the fixing device becomes separated from each other.
