A post-processing apparatus that performs, by one or more functional units which can be switched one another, predetermined post-processing corresponding to a function of the one or more functional units on a conveyed paper includes: a plurality of slots in which the one or more functional units can be loaded at respective loading positions along a conveyance path; a loading detector that detects that the one or more functional units are loaded in the slots; and a condition output part that outputs a condition that allows the post-processing depending on the loading positions of the slots in which the one or more functional units are loaded.
Medium cutting device and image forming apparatus
A medium cutting device cutting a continuous medium carried along a carrying path in a carrying direction includes a sandwiching part that is provided capable of sandwiching a medium; and a cutting blade that includes an edge extending in a width direction (X) of the medium, which is perpendicular to the carrying direction, wherein the medium is cut by the edge while the medium is sandwiched and held by the sandwiching part. Wherein the edge is in a shape depicting an involute curve in which path lengths (PL) of the medium, which are determined from the sandwiching part to the edge in the carrying direction, are substantially constant over the edge in the width direction.
Roll-paper printing apparatus, printing control program, and printing control method
A roll-paper printing apparatus includes a paper feeder that feeds roll paper, a printer that forms an image based on a job on the roll paper, an image scanner that scans the image formed on the roll paper, and a reeler that reels the roll paper, and the roll-paper printing apparatus includes a hardware processor that acquires the image scanned by the image scanner and detects an abnormal output in comparison between the image based on the job and the scanned image, and determines whether output of the job continues or stops, in accordance with a previously set condition, wherein, when the roll paper is cut in a passage direction of the roll paper into a plurality of lanes arrayed in a width direction of the roll paper, the hardware processor continues, in a case where the abnormal output is detected on a lane, the output of the job.
POST-PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
Disclosed is a post-processing apparatus configured to be coupled to an image forming apparatus or another post-processing apparatus. The post-processing apparatus includes: a post-processing unit that performs post-processing to a sheet that is conveyed; and a standby path arranged on an upstream side or a downstream side of the post-processing unit and capable of holding the sheet. The post-processing unit performs the post-processing in a state in which the sheet is partly in the standby path.
MEDIUM CUTTING DEVICE, MEDIUM FEEDING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A medium cutting device includes first and second conveying sections and a cutting section. The first conveying section conveys a continuous medium having a perforation that extends in a first direction. The first conveying section conveys the continuous medium in a second direction intersecting the first direction. The second conveying section is spaced from the first conveying section in the second direction, and conveys the continuous medium in the second direction. The cutting section includes a pressing member and a supporting member. The pressing member is movable in the first direction in a gap between the first and second conveying sections. The supporting member movably supports the pressing member in the second direction. The cutting section causes the pressing member to press the continuous medium while causing the pressing member to move in the first direction, thereby cutting the continuous medium at the perforation.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD FOR IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND CONTROL PROGRAM FOR IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes: an image former that forms an image on a sheet-like recording medium; a cutting processor that cuts, into divided areas, a recording medium conveyed from the image former; a reversing processor having a function to reverse the recording medium cut by the cutting processor; and an image forming data generator that generates image forming data, wherein the image forming data generator generates, the image forming data in which the images are imposed on a front surface and a back surface of the recording medium before the cutting, the image former forms the images on the front surface and the back surface of the recording medium based on the image forming data, and the reversing processor aligns the cutoff sides of the recording media after the cutting, by executing front-back reversal for some of the recording media cut into sheets by the cutting processor.
Image forming apparatus and image forming method
An image forming apparatus includes a cutter, an image forming section, and a controller. The cutter performs cutting of a print medium on the basis of a cutting instruction. The image forming section performs, on the basis of print data, image formation on the print medium with use of a consumable material. The controller calculates, on the basis of the print data, an estimated use amount on the basis of a section page group as a unit, and determines, on the basis of the estimated use amount and a usable amount, whether the image forming section is able to use the consumable material. The section page group is a page group, of the print medium, sectioned in accordance with the cutting instruction. The estimated use amount is an amount of the consumable material to be used. The usable amount is a remaining amount of the consumable material that is usable.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An image forming apparatus includes an image former that forms images on a sheet, a cutter that cuts the sheet on which images are formed by the image former, and generates a plurality of effective sheets that respectively become pages, and a hardware processor that acquires sheet information of each of the plurality of effective sheets that are generated by the cutter, and individually controls conveyance destinations of the plurality of effective sheets based on the sheet information.
