Restricting member, developing device, process cartridge, and image forming apparatus
A restricting member includes a blade portion and a supporting portion. A contact portion is provided at the blade portion, and, in a cross section orthogonal to a longitudinal direction, the contact portion includes a first portion extending in a first direction and a second portion extending toward a free end from an end of the first portion and extending in a second direction. When a region demarcated by connecting an intersection point, the end of the first portion, and an end of the second portion by a straight line is defined as a first region, the intersection point being where an imaginary line intersects an extension line of the first portion in the first direction, an area of the first region is smaller on a longitudinal end portion than on a longitudinal central portion of the blade portion.
Process unit and image forming apparatus
A process unit includes a photosensitive drum on which an electrostatic latent image is to be formed, a charger that charges an outer circumferential surface of the photosensitive drum to a predetermined polarity and a predetermined potential, a cleaner that removes residual toner from the outer circumferential surface of the photosensitive drum, a process frame that holds the photosensitive drum and is provided with the cleaner, and a charger cover that holds the charger and is rotatably supported on the process frame so as to move the charger away from or closer to the photosensitive drum.
Cleaning device for removing a developer, process cartridge and image forming apparatus
A cleaning device, including: a cleaning frame; a cleaning member having one end and the other end, an image bearing member being capable of rotating and bearing a developer image formed of a developer so as to remove the developer remaining on the image bearing member after transfer of the developer image from the image bearing member; and a sheet member having flexibility and having one end and the other end; wherein a work function W (D) of the developer and a work function W (S) of the sheet member satisfy 0W(D)W(S)0.23 and the developer includes inorganic particles, and at least one kind of the inorganic particles has an average primary particle diameter of 50 nm or larger.
PACKAGING MEMBER FOR CLEANING BLADES
A packaging member for cleaning blades each having a blade main body and a holder part comprises at least one set of packaging member main bodies for supporting, respectively, opposite ends and of the holder parts of the cleaning blades. A first packaging member main body which is one of the set of packaging member main bodies has a plurality of first support parts disposed at predetermined intervals along the longitudinal direction of the packaging member main body. The first support parts each support one end portion of the holder part. A second packaging member main body which is the other of the set of packaging member main bodies has a plurality of second support parts disposed at the predetermined intervals along the longitudinal direction of the packaging member main body. The second support parts each support the other end portion of the holder part.
Toner conveying device and image forming apparatus
A toner conveying device includes a case, a conveying screw, a film member and a supporting member. The conveying screw conveys a toner stored in the case in a predetermined direction inside the case. The film member includes a base part elongated in an axial direction of the conveying screw as a longitudinal direction and a plurality of protruding pieces formed so as to protrude in one direction intersecting the longitudinal direction from the base part, and has flexibility. The supporting member includes an attaching part elongated in the axial direction as the longitudinal direction to which the film member is attached, and an axis part being in parallel to the longitudinal direction. The film member and the supporting member are disposed at an upper side of the conveying screw so that the protruding pieces come into contact with the conveying screw, and are rotatable around the axis part.
DRUM CARTRIDGE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DRUM CARTRIDGE
A drum cartridge includes a blade, a sheet metal member, a support member, and a fastening member. One of the sheet metal member and the support member includes a first center hole which is formed at a center portion, and a fastening member receiving portion formed at a first end side and configured to fasten the fastening member. The other of the sheet metal member and the support member includes a second center hole which is formed at the center portion, and a through hole which is formed at the first end side and through which the fastening member is passed. The first center hole and the second center hole are arranged such that centers thereof are overlapped. The through hole is configured to be larger than the fastening member receiving portion in a swinging direction with the first and second center holes serving as the center of swing.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus including: an image carrier that carries a toner image; a cleaner that contacts a surface of the image carrier and removes a toner, the cleaner being located at a first position during stop of rotation of the image carrier and located at a second position during rotation of the image carrier; a moving mechanism that moves the cleaner between the first position and the second position by moving the cleaner in a direction parallel to a rotation shaft of the image carrier while maintaining a contact state between the cleaner and the image carrier; and a hardware processor, in which the hardware processor starts to move the cleaner from the first position to the second position with the moving mechanism during stop of the rotation of the image carrier, and the hardware processor starts to rotate the image carrier during movement of the cleaner.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus including: an image bearing member; a developing member to supply a developer to the image bearing member; and a cleaning member to clean a peripheral surface of the image bearing member in contact with the peripheral surface, wherein a plurality of grooves extend in a circumferential direction on the peripheral surface, and have a width in a generatrix direction of the peripheral surface within a range of at least 0.5 m and not more than 40 m, and are formed to be side by side in the generatrix direction; the number of the grooves is at least 20 and not more than 1000 per a width of 1000 m in the generatrix direction of the peripheral surface; and an average depth (Rvk) of a valley of a projection under a core section of a roughness curve of the peripheral surface is 0.08 m or less.
Image forming apparatus having optical print head
Provided are a first seating face and a second seating face, to which a lower side of a holding member of an optical print head being moved from an exposure position toward a retracted position by a movement mechanism strikes in the direction of movement thereof. A light emission face of a lens array of the holding member that has abutted the first seating face and second seating face is thereby positioned on a movement path of a rubbing portion provided on a cleaning member that is inserted from an opening.
Cleaning device and image forming apparatus
A cleaning device includes a cleaning portion including a blade and a blade supporting member having a flat surface portion, and a cleaning frame including a mounting portion, a disposing portion and an accommodating portion. The disposing portion opposes the flat surface portion with a gap with respect to a thickness direction. The accommodating portion is adjacent to respective sides of the disposing portion with respect to a height direction.
