Drum unit having electrical contact surface positioned at outer surface of frame and image forming apparatus provided with the same
A drum unit includes: a frame; a first photosensitive drum; a second photosensitive drum; a charger; and a storage medium. The frame includes: a first frame plate; a second frame plate spaced apart from the first frame plate in a first direction; a third frame plate connecting one end of the first frame plate to one end of the second frame plate; and a fourth frame plate connecting another end of the first frame plate to another end of the second frame plate. The first photosensitive drum and the second photosensitive drum are rotatably supported by the frame. The second photosensitive drum is spaced apart from the first photosensitive drum and positioned closer to the third frame plate than the first photosensitive drum to the third frame plate in a second direction. The storage medium has an electrical contact surface positioned at an outer surface of the third frame plate.
Structure for protruding handle to release developer cartridge
A printer includes a main body including a printing unit for printing an image, a developer cartridge for accommodating a developer to be supplied to the printing unit and removable from the main body, a releasing member provided in the main body and pushing the developer cartridge in a removal direction to move the developer cartridge from a mounting position where the developer cartridge is locked to the main body to a removal position where the developer cartridge is unlocked, and a handle provided on the developer cartridge. The handle moves in conjunction with the movement of the developer cartridge from the mounting position to the removal position of the developer cartridge such that the handle is switched from a first position adjacent to a side of the developer cartridge to a second position protruding from the side of the developer cartridge, so that the handle can be gripped.
Dust removal device and printer
A dust removal device for continuous paper improves operability and usability for a user. The continuous paper is continuously supplied in a rightward direction, then through guide rollers, the direction of the continuous paper is reversed leftward. A downward front surface of the continuous paper is cleaned with a first dust removal device. Further, a direction of the continuous paper is reversed with a guide roller rightward. A downward back surface of the continuous paper is cleaned with a second dust removal device, and is guided to the downstream side. The two dust removal devices are provided in a vertical positional relationship in space. Dust removed with a dust removing member falls to a dust receiving member and is stored in the dust receiving member. It is possible to easily dispose the dust by pulling out the dust removal device from a cleaning position to an outside detachment position.
Image forming apparatus having a drawer
An image forming apparatus is provided, including a housing, a drum cartridge, a developing cartridge, a drawer movable between an inner position and an outer position and a lock member provided on the drawer and movable between a lock position at which the lock member locks the drum cartridge to the drawer, and a release position at which a lock between the drum cartridge and the drawer is released. The lock member includes an operation portion for moving the lock member between the lock position and the release position. The developing cartridge includes a cover member that covers at least a portion of the operation portion in a state in which the drum cartridge is mounted to the drawer, and the developing cartridge is mounted to the drum cartridge.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus, includes a body housing, a drawer movable between an accommodated position and a drawn position, a drum cartridge including a photoconductor drum, a developing cartridge including a developing roller, and a belt located above the photoconductor drum, and the drawer is located at the accommodated position. The drum cartridge includes a moving member movable, with respect to the photoconductor drum, between (i) a first position which is a position at which the moving member is not opposed to the developing cartridge mounted on the drum cartridge and is opposed to a circumferential surface of the photoconductor drum and (ii) a second position which is a position at which the moving member is not opposed to the circumferential surface of the photoconductor drum and is opposed to the developing cartridge mounted on the drum cartridge.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a body casing, a pressing member, a process cartridge, and a drawer. The body casing includes a positioning member. The pressing member is disposed inside the body casing. The process cartridge includes a photosensitive drum. The drawer is configured to support the process cartridge and to move, in a sliding direction orthogonal to an axis direction of the photosensitive drum, between an inside position that is a position inside the body casing and an outside position that is a position outside the body casing. The process cartridge includes an engagement portion and a spring. The engagement portion is configured to be positioned by the positioning member. The spring is configured to be pressed by the pressing member such that the engagement portion is pressed toward the positioning member.
UNIT ATTACHMENT-DETACHMENT MECHANISM AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS THEREWITH
A unit attachment-detachment mechanism includes a unit and a pair of guide rails. The pair of guide rails slidably supports a pair of side faces of the unit. The side faces respectively have formed thereon engagement projections that engage with the guide rails. The pair of guide rails has formed therein at least a pair of inclined portions. The pair of inclined portions is formed asymmetrically with each other in the unit width direction perpendicular to the attachment-detachment direction.
Image forming apparatus including a moving member configured to move a cartridge
An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus main body, a cartridge including a supported portion, a moving member configured to move to the apparatus main body and thereby move the cartridge, the moving member moving to the apparatus main body so as to be in an external position and an internal position, a main body side positioning portion provided on the apparatus main body and configured to, when the moving member is in the internal position, support the supported portion, and an upward inclination portion provided on the apparatus main body and inclined upwardly from a movement direction in which the moving member moves from the external position to the internal position. The upward inclination portion causes the cartridge to move upward with respect to the moving member in a process in which the moving member moves from the external position to the internal position.
DRAWER UNIT AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
A drawer unit includes: a drawer member allowed to shift toward a storage unit in an inserting direction, or shift from the storage unit in a drawing direction; a lock member rotatably supported by the drawer member; a first regulation member that engages with the lock member to regulate a shift of the drawer member when the drawer member is located at a first position; a second regulation member that engages with the lock member to regulate a shift of the drawer member when the drawer member is located at a second position; and an operation unit that receives a first operation that rotates the lock member in the drawing direction to allow engagement between the lock member and the first regulation member, and a second operation that rotates the lock member in the inserting direction to allow engagement between the lock member and the second regulation member.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a printer portion; an image reading portion rotatable relative to the printer portion; a discharge portion configured to stack the recording material discharged from an inside of the printer portion, the discharge portion being supported rotatably relative to the printer portion; and a regulating member provided between the discharge portion and the image reading portion and configured to regulate movement of the recording material stacked on the discharge portion. When the image forming apparatus is seen in a rotational axis direction of the image reading portion, at least a part of the regulating member in a state in which the image reading portion and the discharge portion are open away from the printer portion is hidden inside a contour of a casing of the image reading portion.
