PROCESS CARTRIDGE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A process cartridge comprises a photosensitive drum and a developing roller. A coupling member is provided adjacent to one axial end of the developing roller. The coupling member includes a driven portion, and an intermediary portion configured and positioned to engage with the driven portion. The intermediary portion is also configured to be movable relative to the driven portion in a direction crossing the axis of the developing roller while maintaining engagement with the driven portion. The coupling member further includes a driving portion configured and positioned to receive a driving force for rotating the developing roller. The driving portion is also configured to engage with the intermediary portion, and to be movable relative to the intermediary portion in a direction crossing the axis of the developing roller while maintaining engagement with the intermediary portion.
Image forming apparatus including movable process unit that supports photosensitive drum
An image forming apparatus including a main body housing including a first side wall, a second side wall, a rear wall, and a front wall having an opening. The apparatus also includes a process unit supporting a photosensitive drum, an exposure device, a transfer roller, and a fixing device spaced upward from the photosensitive drum. The process unit is movable between an inner position where the process unit is accommodated inside the main body housing and an outer position where at least a part of the process unit is drawn out of the main body housing through the opening. When the process unit is at the inner position, the transfer roller is at a position between the rear wall and the photosensitive drum. The process unit is configured to move downward as the process unit moves from the inner position to the outer position.
PROCESS CARTRIDGE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A process cartridge is detachably mountable to a main assembly of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. The cartridge includes an electrophotographic photosensitive drum, a developing roller, a drum unit containing the drum, a developing unit containing the roller and being movable so the roller contacts and is spaced from the drum, and a first force receiver receiving a force from a main-assembly first force applier by movement of a door from open to closed positions when mounting the cartridge and a second force receiver movable from a stand-by position by movement of the first force receiver by a force received from the first force applier. The second force receiver takes a projected position receiving a force from the second force applier to move the developing unit so the roller moves out of contact with the drum, the projected position being higher than the stand-by position.
Cartridge and image forming apparatus
A cartridge includes a photosensitive member, a discharge opening for discharging a developer removed from the photosensitive member, toward a loosening member provided in the main assembly of a apparatus; a vibration imparting member for imparting vibration to the loosening member. The vibration imparting member is movable between a first position for imparting the vibration to the loosening member and a second position retracted from the first position.
Image forming apparatus
In a configuration in which a cartridge is removably mounted from a longitudinal direction of the cartridge (a side-oriented configuration), an image bearing member is disposed at a position farther from a light emitting unit in a state in which a cover is opened than a state in which the cover is closed in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the cartridge.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A first cartridge support is configured to support a drum cartridge. The first cartridge support is configured to move in a first direction between a first position at which the drum cartridge is mounted on a housing and a second position at which the drum cartridge is detachable. A second cartridge support is configured to support a development cartridge. The second cartridge support is configured to move in the first direction between a third position at which the development cartridge is mounted on the drum cartridge and a fourth position at which the development cartridge is detachable. In a state where the second cartridge support is located at the third position, the second cartridge support is located between the first cartridge support located at the first position and a cover located at a closed position with respect to the first direction.

IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus, having a casing, a drum unit including first and second lateral walls and first and second photosensitive drums, first and second cartridges supported by the drum unit, first and second operable members, is provided. The first operable member and the second operable member press the first developing cartridge and the second developing cartridge, respectively, in a direction from the first lateral wall toward the second lateral wall to move the first and second developing rollers from the respective contacting positions to respective separated positions. The casing includes a restrictive portion. When the drum unit is attached to the casing, the restrictive portion restricts movement of the drum unit erasable by at least one of a pressing action of the first operable member to press the first developing cartridge and a pressing action of the second operable member to press the second developing cartridge.
CARTRIDGE AND REMANUFACTURING METHOD OF CARTRIDGE
In a remanufacturing method for remanufacturing a cartridge from a material cartridge, the material cartridge is attachable to and detachable from an apparatus main body of an image forming apparatus, and the apparatus main body includes a guide member. The material cartridge includes a frame member including an engagement portion configured to be engaged with the guide member, and a first attachment portion provided in the engagement portion, and a first storage member. The first storage member includes a first holding portion configured to hold a first electrode and be attached to the first attachment portion. The remanufacturing method includes detaching the first holding portion, attaching a second electrode to the frame member, and attaching a second storage element to the frame member at a different position from a position of the first attachment portion.
