A feeding device to feed a conveyed medium stacked on a stacker, includes a first suction unit, a second suction unit, and third suction units. The first suction unit includes a suction chamber; a suction fan to exhaust air from the suction chamber; and a first driver to rotate the suction fan. The suction units are disposed above the conveyed medium stacked on the stacker. The second suction unit includes a rotary fan including a board and a plurality of walls extending from the board; and a second driver to rotate the rotary fan. The second suction unit generates a vortex flow directed to the conveyed medium. The plurality of third suction units is disposed in a direction perpendicular to a conveyance direction of the conveyed medium and attracts ends of the conveyed medium in the direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction.
Sheet conveying apparatus
A sheet conveying apparatus configured to convey a sheet includes: a rotatable support portion configured to support a rotary portion which is configured to convey a sheet; an urging portion configured to urge the support portion in a direction of a rotary shaft center of the support portion with a support shaft, which is configured to support the support portion in a rotatable manner and is inserted through the urging portion; and a regulating portion configured to regulate a position of the support portion urged by the urging portion.

A feeding apparatus comprises: a blower unit that is able to perform a first air blowing operation on sheets which are stacked on a stacking unit, and a second air blowing operation that volume of air blowing is smaller than volume of air blowing in the first air blowing operation; a feeding unit, brought into contact with the sheets stacked on the stacking unit and located on a feeding position to which feeding is performed while pressing the sheets from above, for feeding the sheets that have performed the first air blowing operation; and a control unit for controlling the blower unit to perform the first air blowing operation until a start of feeding by the feeding unit so as to separate the sheets stacked on the stacking unit.
Image forming apparatus including a conveyance cover turnable with respect to a body housing
This image forming apparatus is equipped with: a conveyance cover which forms a reverse conveyance path; and a double-sided conveyance unit. The conveyance cover is turnably mounted to a body housing, and the double-sided conveyance unit is turnably mounted to the conveyance cover. A side surface of the body housing is equipped with a first abutment surface. The double-sided conveyance unit is equipped with a second abutment surface that abuts on the first abutment surface. The first abutment surface and the second abutment surface are the surfaces against which the double-sided conveyance unit and the surface abut first when the conveyance cover is closed, if in a state where the conveyance cover is opened and the double-sided conveyance unit is separated from the conveyance cover. The abutment presses the double-sided conveyance unit toward a position to cause the conveyance cover to house the double-sided conveyance unit.
Print medium supply apparatus and image forming apparatus having the same
An image forming apparatus includes a print medium tray in which a print medium is loaded and a pickup roller which is configured to pick up the loaded print medium from the print medium tray. The pickup roller includes at least one first pickup block and at least one second pickup block configured to alternately come into contact with an upper portion of the loaded print medium. Using such a configuration, the pickup performance of the image forming apparatus may be improved.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a tray configured to accommodate a plurality of sheets which are conveyed out of the tray for printing, a pressing member movable between a first position at which the pressing member presses the plurality of sheets against the tray and second position at which the pressing member does not press the plurality of sheets against the tray, a drive mechanism configured to cause the pressing member to be moved between the first and second positions, and a control unit configured to control the drive mechanism to move the pressing member into the first position, while a sheet is not supplied for printing from the tray and into the second position while the sheet is supplied for printing from the tray.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS
An image processing apparatus comprises a container which is constituted by a bottom connected with a side wall of the image processing apparatus and extending upwards in the vertical direction at a predetermined angle from the side wall and a side wall section vertically arranged on the bottom, and houses a sheet to be processed in a space formed by the side wall of the image processing apparatus and the side wall section; and a pickup section configured to make a roller enter to the inside of the container when the pickup section executes a pickup operation for conveying the sheet to be processed to a main body section of the image processing apparatus and make the roller located inside the image processing apparatus when the pickup section does not execute the pickup operation.
Sheet feeding apparatus, sheet conveyance apparatus, and image forming apparatus
A sheet feeding apparatus includes a supporting portion and a feeding unit. The supporting portion supports a sheet and is capable of being drawn out from and being attached to an apparatus body. The feeding unit is provided in the apparatus body and includes a feeding portion, a conveyance portion, a separation unit, and a guide member. The feeding portion feeds the sheet supported by the supporting portion. The conveyance portion conveys the sheet. The separation unit forms a separation nip with the conveyance portion and is detachable from the feeding unit. The guide member includes a guide surface and a lower surface. The guide surface guides the sheet to the separation nip. The lower surface is provided below the guide surface and includes an exposing portion exposing at least a part of the separation unit.
Sheet feeding apparatus
A sheet feeding apparatus is provided with a pick-up roller that contacts sheets loaded on a load tray to pick up, a paper feed roller that feeds a picked-up sheet, and a separation roller brought into press-contact with the paper feed roller to separate the sheet, where the sheets are separated from the pick-up roller, the separation roller is rotated in a sheet return direction different from a sheet feed direction, and subsequently, the paper feed roller is separated from the separation roller. It is possible to prevent damage to a sheet and sheet jam from occurring in pulling out the load tray loaded with sheets to the front side.
Image processing apparatus
An image processing apparatus comprises a container mounted on a side wall of the image processing apparatus and comprising a bottom extending upwards in the vertical direction at a predetermined angle from the side wall for supporting an end of a sheet and a wall member vertically arranged on the bottom and forming a space with the bottom, and configured to house a sheet in the space through an opening formed on the upper side of the container; and a pickup unit located adjacent to the bottom of the container and having a pickup roller and configured to move the pickup roller to the inside of the container if a pickup operation for conveying the sheet to the inside of the image processing apparatus is executed, and keep the pickup roller at a waiting position outside of the space of the container if the pickup operation is not executed.
