A downstream end of the movable chute located at a second position is farther from a sheet conveyance path than the downstream end of the movable chute located at a first position. A reconveyance chute forms a reconveyance path of a sheet that is reconveyed from the fuser toward the transfer unit. The reconveyance path is located between the movable chute and the reconveyance chute in a sheet thickness direction. The movable chute has a sheet conveyance surface and a first reconveyance surface. The sheet conveyance surface guides the sheet that is conveyed from the transfer unit toward the fuser along the sheet conveyance path. The first reconveyance surface faces opposite to the sheet conveyance surface in the sheet thickness direction. The first reconveyance surface forms the reconveyance path.

An image forming apparatus includes the following. A medium oscillating mechanism oscillates the recording medium. A medium sensing section senses a position of an end of the recording medium. A belt correction mechanism is configured to correct a position of a belt. A belt sensing section senses the position of the end of the belt. A hardware processor performs first rectification control in which the medium oscillating mechanism rectifies the position of the end of the recording medium based on sensing by the medium sensing section, and second rectification control in which the belt correction mechanism rectifies the position of the end of the belt based on sensing by the belt sensing section. The hardware processor performs a correction to the second rectification control in a case in which the first rectification control is performed with the recording medium straddling both the medium oscillating mechanism and the belt.

A sheet conveyance apparatus includes a conveyance rotary member pair, an abutment portion, a first skewing rotary member pair, a switching unit, a driving unit, and a control unit. The switching unit switches the first skewing rotary member pair between a nipping conveyance state in which a sheet is nipped and conveyed and a non-nipping state in which nipping of the sheet is released. The control unit controls a rotational speed of the first skewing rotary member pair to be a first speed when the sheet is obliquely conveyed to the abutment portion by the first skewing rotary member pair, and controls the rotational speed of the first skewing rotary member pair to be a second speed lower than the first speed when the first skewing rotary member pair is in the non-nipping state and the conveyance rotary member pair conveys the sheet.
