MANUAL SHEET FEEDING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A manual sheet feeding device includes: a sheet feeding rotary body configured to separate and feed recording media placed on a manual sheet feeding unit one by one; a shielding unit configured to cover an outer side surface of the sheet feeding rotary body, the shielding unit having an aperture for exposing at least a part of the sheet feeding rotary body to an outside; and an opening and closing unit configured to open and close the aperture of the shielding unit.
Roller separation device and image forming apparatus using the same
An image forming apparatus and roller separation device are provided. The image forming apparatus including a main body having a print unit, a first paper feeding unit containing print paper and insertable in or pullable from the main body, a feed roller in the main body feeding the print paper from the first paper feeding unit to the print unit and comprising a driven roller contacting a driving roller, an elastic member applying an elastic force to the driven roller in a direction to contact the driving roller, a handle member in the main body movable to a first position and a second position, and a separation member connected to the handle member and switched to a normal position separated from the driven roller and a separation position separating the driven roller from the driving roller.
SHEET CONVEYANCE APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet conveyance apparatus including an openable member, a first conveyance roller, a second conveyance roller, a holding member, an urging member, and a reduction portion is provided. The first conveyance roller is provided in an apparatus body, and the second conveyance roller is provided in the openable member. The holding member rotatably holds the second conveyance roller, and the urging member urges the holding member in a pressing direction. The reduction portion includes a swingable member provided in the openable member and an abut portion provided in the apparatus body, and reduces a force applied to the openable member by the urging member when opening or closing the openable member.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus configured to form images on a first surface and a second surface of a sheet includes an apparatus body, an image forming unit, a feed tray, and a return unit configured to return the sheet having an image formed on the first surface of the sheet toward the image forming unit. The return unit includes a first guide, a second guide, and an adjuster. The first guide is detachably attached to the second guide and includes a first roller and a positioned portion. The second guide is positioned in the apparatus body and includes a second roller facing the first roller, and a positioning portion configured to contact the positioned portion of the first guide, thereby positioning the first guide relative to the second guide. The adjuster is configured to adjust an orientation of the second guide relative to the apparatus body.
SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME
A sheet binding processing apparatus includes a conveying portion, a conveying path for sheets, a stacking portion on which sheets from the conveying path are stacked, a first regulating portion for regulating a sheet bundle on the stacking portion in a crossing direction, a second regulating portion for regulating a sheet bundle in the conveying direction, a manual setting portion for setting sheets from an outside of the apparatus, and a binding device which binds a sheet bundle by a staple and moves in the crossing direction. An angular posture of the binding device located at a third position is different from an angular posture located at a first position. An angular posture of the binding device located at the third position is different from an angular posture located at a second position. The second position is located at a second side of the first position.
Image forming system and image forming apparatus
An image forming system includes an image forming apparatus having an apparatus main body, a sheet feeding cassette, a manual bypass tray, an opening/closing detection part and a sheet feeding source setting part. The apparatus main body has an input part to which a printing instruction is input. The manual bypass tray is displaced into an open posture and into a close posture. The sheet feeding source setting part sets the sheet feeding cassette or the manual bypass tray as a sheet feeding source. When the opening/closing detection part detects that the manual bypass tray is displaced from the close posture to the open posture and the printing instruction is input to the input part, regardless of the sheet feeding source input to the input part, the sheet feeding source setting part sets the manual bypass tray as the sheet feeding source.
SHEET CONVEYANCE APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
While the first opening and closing member is moved from the first closed position to the first opened position, a force transmitted to the second opening closing member by the first member interfering with the second member pivots the second opening and closing member from the second closed position toward the second opened position. While the first opening and closing member is moved from the first opened position to the first closed position, the second member retracts from the movement locus of the first member by interference of the first member with the second member, and the first opening and closing member is configured to move to the first closed position in a state where the second opening and closing member is positioned at the second closed position.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A first protrusion is provided between an operation lever and a lock lever. The operation lever is for moving a pressure roller. The lock lever is provided for a sheet guide member for guiding a sheet that has passed through a fixing unit downstream in the sheet conveyance direction. The lock lever is for locking the sheet guide member at a position where the sheet guide member is engaged with a housing. The first protrusion protrudes from the sheet guide member toward an exterior cover. The first protrusion is provided with a second protrusion on the lock lever side of the first protrusion.
SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet feeding apparatus includes an apparatus body, a cover openably and closably supported between a first closed position and a first open position, a first supporting portion movable between a second closed position and a second open position, an interlocking portion configured to move the first supporting portion from the second closed position to the second open position in a case where the cover is opened from the first closed position to the first open position, a second supporting portion drawably supported by the first supporting portion, and a feed portion configured to feed the sheet supported by the first and second supporting portions. A moving angle of the first supporting portion in moving from the second closed position to the second open position is smaller than a moving angle of the cover in moving from the first closed position to the first open position.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a body, a conveyance unit, an image carrier, a transfer unit, and a pre-transfer guide. The body has a sheet passage for conveying sheets along inner and outer conveyance surfaces mutually facing. The conveyance unit includes the outer conveyance surface and is supported pivotably between an open position and a closed position relative to the inner conveyance surface. The transfer unit rotatably supports a transfer roller. The pre-transfer guide includes a first guide on the outer conveyance surface and a second guide on the inner conveyance surface. The first guide has a contact segment protruding toward the second guide. The first guide and the transfer unit are supported independently swingably relative to the transfer unit. The first guide is urged toward the second, and the distance between the two guide surfaces is restricted by the contact segment touching a contacted portion.
