Sheet conveying device and image forming apparatus
A sheet conveying device includes a sheet conveying passage and a switching guide. The switching guide switches the sheet conveying passage between first and second sheet conveying passages. The switching guide includes a plurality of guide ribs and guide members. The plurality of guide ribs are disposed at intervals in the sheet width direction and extend in the sheet conveying direction. The guide members are fitted to specific guide ribs selected from the plurality of guide ribs. The plurality of guide ribs have first and second guide surfaces that guide the sheet. The guide members are formed of a material having higher slidability than the plurality of guide ribs, and have third guide surfaces that are disposed at positions protruding further to an inner side of the sheet conveying passage than the first or second guide surfaces.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus, including: a sheet cassette; an image former; a fixer; a discharge tray; a conveyor configured to convey a sheet along a conveyance passage; a return conveyor configured to convey the sheet from a branch position between the fixer and the discharge tray to a merge position between the sheet cassette and the image former along a return passage which is branched from the conveyance passage at the branch position, passes below the sheet cassette, and merges with the conveyance passage at the merge position; a switchback roller disposed between the branch position and the discharge tray in the conveyance passage and configured to convey the sheet to the discharge tray when it rotates forwardly and to the return passage when it rotates backwardly; and an intermediate conveyance roller disposed in the return passage at a height level intermediate between the fixer and the sheet cassette.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming section, a guide, a conveyance roller and a movement mechanism. The image forming section forms an image on an image receiving medium. The guide is arranged at a downstream side of the image forming section in a conveyance direction of the image receiving medium. The guide guides the image receiving medium. The conveyance roller is arranged at the downstream side of the image forming section in the conveyance direction of the image receiving medium. The conveyance roller conveys the image receiving medium along the guide. The movement mechanism moves at least one of the guide or the conveyance roller in a direction intersecting the conveyance direction of the image receiving medium.
Sheet discharge device and image forming apparatus including the same
A sheet discharge device of the present invention includes discharge rollers configured to transport a sheet in a predetermined transport direction and to discharge the sheet to a discharge tray, and an upper discharge tray disposed above the discharge tray with a space being interposed therebetween. A bottom face of the upper discharge tray that faces the discharge tray includes a guide rib extending in an oblique direction inclined relative to the transport direction.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit and a developing separation mechanism. The image forming unit includes an image carrier and a developing device. The developing device includes a developing member and movable in a developing position where the developing member is in contact with the image carrier and a separated position where the developing member is separated away from the image carrier, and is configured to be drawn out from an apparatus main body. The developing separation mechanism includes an arm member configured to interfere with the developing device from a downstream side of a draw-out direction so as to move the developing device from the developing position to the separated position, and to be turned to an upstream side of the draw-out direction by the image forming unit when the image forming unit is drawn out and then be separated from the developing device.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes an attachable/detachable storage unit having a positioned portion projecting downstream in an attachment direction of the storage unit, a conveyance member, an image forming unit to form an image on a sheet conveyed by the conveyance member, and a conveyance unit to move between a first position and a second position. Engagement of the positioned portion with a positioning portion of the image forming apparatus causes the storage unit to be positioned with respect to the image forming apparatus. The conveyance unit includes a contact portion and a depressed portion. In a case where the contact portion of the conveyance unit comes into contact with the storage unit and the conveyance unit is moved from the second position to the first position by the storage unit, the positioned portion does not come into contact with the depressed portion of the conveyance unit.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a housing, an attachable and detachable device, a cover member, and a rotation angle restricting member. The housing has an opening and an attachment section. The attachable and detachable device is attachable to and detachable from an inside of the housing via the opening. The cover member is rotatably supported by the housing and closes or opens the opening. The rotation angle restricting member restricts an allowable rotation angle that indicates an angle at which the cover member is rotatable. The rotation angle restricting member is attachable to and detachable from the attachment section. The allowable rotation angle of the cover member is restricted when the rotation angle restricting member is attached to the attachment section. Restriction of the allowable rotation angle of the cover member is released when the rotation angle restricting member is detached from the attachment section.
FIXING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A fixing device includes first and second rotatable members; a movable member; a first supporting side plate including an opening; a second supporting side plate; a detecting portion; a supporting plate; a holding portion; a slit portion; a first projected portion; a second projected portion; and a hole. When the position of the holding portion with respect to the height direction is regulated by the second projected portion in contact with the supporting plate, in a projection plane in which the outside of the first supporting side plate is viewed in the longitudinal direction of the first rotatable member, the flag portion is accommodated inside the opening and is in a non-overlapping position with the detecting portion. When the projected portion is engaged in the hole, in the projection plane, the flag portion is in an overlapping position with the detecting portion.
Sheet conveyance apparatus and image forming apparatus
A sheet conveyance apparatus includes a guide member, a holding member, and urging members. The guide member can move between a first position to guide a conveyed sheet toward a first conveyance path and a second position to guide the conveyed sheet toward a second conveyance path. A first urging member applying applies an urging force to the holding member so that the guide member is held at the first position. The second urging member applies, to the guide member, an urging force to move the guide member from the first to the second position. The holding member is movable between a hold position at which the guide member is held and a release position in which the holding member releases the guide member. When the holding member is at the release position, the guide member is held at the second position by the second urging member urging force.
