Sheet glue binding processing apparatus
In accordance with an embodiment, a sheet glue binding processing apparatus comprises a processing tray, a glue binding section and a sheet detection section. The processing tray is used to stack a sheet in such a manner that the end of the binding margin side of the sheet is fed to a positioning section. The glue binding section is configured at the positioning section side of the processing tray to adhere glue material to the binding margin of the sheet already stacked on the processing tray. The sheet detection section detects whether or not the binding margin of the first sheet to be stacked on the processing tray is located at a specific position of the processing tray.
PAPER POST-PROCESSING APPARATUS AND PAPER POST-PROCESSING METHOD
A post-processing apparatus comprises a first processing tray on which fed paper is placed; a paper binding section configured to bind a plurality of sheets of paper stacked on the first processing tray into one bundle; a second processing tray which a plurality of paper bundles bound on the first processing tray are sequentially conveyed to and placed on; a paper bundle gluing section configured to coat glue at a given position of the top surface of a first paper bundle placed on the second processing tray before a second paper bundle is placed on the first paper bundle; a pressing section configured to press and bind the first paper bundle with the second paper bundle between which glue is coated; and a control section configured to control the timing for conveying the second paper bundle onto the first paper bundle after the glue is coated.
PAPERBOARD, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD USING PAPERBOARD
A paperboard includes plural stacked paper layers. The surface electrical resistance of an image forming surface of the paperboard in an electrophotographic system is 110.sup.13 or less after humidity control in an environment of 20 C. and 10% RH.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM
A control portion of an image forming apparatus creates an image list for performing the perfect-binding imposition of the images of the pages on the sheets so that the scores formed on the sheets are on the external surface of the center-folded sheets, for the sheets each having a size twice the size specified as each of the sheets on which the images of the book body are to be formed, when a book-body stacking portion accommodates the sheets center-folded by a folding portion along scores formed for every sheet from a predetermined direction by a scoring portion for each of the sheets having the images formed thereon by the image forming portion, and a bookbinding portion uses a glue-on cover to perform case binding of a bundle of the sheets glued to the side of the spine.
Image forming system, image forming apparatus, finisher and method of controlling image forming system
An image forming system is described which is capable of assembling an output product which consists of sheets having uniform sheet widths by appropriately performing a trimming process even if the output product is made from a plurality of paper types. The image forming system consists of an image forming apparatus configured to form an image on a sheet; a finisher provided with a slit unit for trimming edges of sheets and capable of assembling an output product by joining the trimmed sheets, and a control unit for controlling the image forming apparatus and the finisher. When a book cover (standard paper type sheet) is supplied, the control unit trims the paper edges by a designated trimming width. Conversely, when a book body (non-standard paper type sheet) is supplied, the control unit trims the paper edges by a designated trimming width to which an offset amount is added.
PRINTING SYSTEM, METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A printing system obtains a print job, analyzes the obtained print job, and imposes print pages to a total of four surfaces of a print target sheet including two surfaces on each of front and back in accordance with a bookbinding format of the analyzed print job. As for an imposition method, if the bookbinding format of the print job is particular two fold bookbinding for which processing of two-folding a sheet and bonding a plurality of two-folded sheets is performed, imposition is performed while reserving a glue surface not to print out of the four surfaces of the print target sheet.
Fixing device and image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus including a fixing unit that fixes a toner image on a recording material includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire grammage information about the recording material, and a temperature control unit configured to control a temperature of a heating rotary member of the fixing unit based on the grammage information. The temperature control unit changes the temperature control of the heating rotary member depending on the acquired grammage information about a predetermined number of recording materials within a predetermined time.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a first heater, a second heater, and processing circuitry. The first heater is used in an image forming process. The second heater is used in a processing process after the image forming process. The processing circuitry is to measure a temperature of the first heater, measure a temperature of the second heater, and control start of the image forming process based on a first measured temperature of the first heater and a second measured temperature of the second heater.
IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An image forming system includes an image forming mechanism configured to form an image on a recording medium and a processor configured to stop rotation of a rotating member in the image forming mechanism when time, calculated by subtracting time required for image quality adjustment of an image to be formed from time required for post-processing of a recording medium on which an image is formed in a post-processing apparatus, is longer than set threshold time.
