An image forming system includes an image forming apparatus including a fixing unit, a folding processing portion, and a pressure-bonding portion. A first recording material having a first basis weight is fixed at a first temperature by the fixing unit and then is pressure-bonded by the pressure-bonding portion after a lapse of a first period. A second recording material having a second basis weight is fixed at a second temperature by the fixing unit and then is pressure-bonded by the pressure-bonding portion after a lapse of a second period. The second basis weight is larger than the first basis weight. The second temperature is higher than the first temperature. The second period is longer than the first period.

An enclosing device includes an envelope conveyance path, an envelope loader, an envelope-position restrictor, and an envelope-position adjuster. The envelope loader loads the envelope to be supplied to the envelope conveyance path. The envelope-position restrictor restricts a loaded position of the envelope in the envelope loader. The envelope-position adjuster adjusts a position of the envelope with respect to a conveyance direction of the envelope while maintaining a state in which the envelope-position restrictor restricts the loaded position of the envelope.

An apparatus includes: a unit that provides an instruction on creasing and folding positions on paper set such that the distance between fold crease and fold line positions is meaningful; a unit that acquires a read image by reading paper that has been subjected to creasing and folding processes in accordance with the creasing and folding positions in an open state; a unit that analyzes the read image to detect two streaks corresponding to the fold crease and the fold line from the read image, and that specifies the position of one of the two streaks as the fold crease position and the position of the other as the fold line position on the basis of the creasing and folding positions; and a unit that outputs correction information about at least one of the creasing and folding positions such that the fold crease and fold line positions match each other.

An image forming apparatus includes, an image forming portion configured to form a toner image on a sheet using printing toner and apply powder adhesive on the sheet, a fixing portion configured to heat the toner image formed on the sheet and the powder adhesive applied on the sheet by the image forming portion and fix the toner image and the powder adhesive to the sheet, and a bonding portion configured to bond the sheet with the powder adhesive by reheating the sheet having been heated by the fixing portion. The bonding portion is arranged above the image forming portion.
