TONER CONTAINER HAVING PROTRUSIONS PROJECTING FROM OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE TONER CONTAINER
A system with a container including a protrusion, and a receiver to receive the container. The receiver includes a slide block that is movable relative to a body of the receiver, the slide block including two surfaces, a first surface, initially contacted by the protrusion of the container during insertion of the container into the receiver, having a first slope to resist movement of the container towards the receiver, and a second surface, subsequently contacted by the protrusion of the container during the insertion of the container into the receiver, having a second slope to interact with the protrusion of the container to assist movement of the container towards the receiver. This construction provides the user with a changing insertion force to indicate proper mounting of the container.
MULTI-PORTION CONSUMABLE COMPONENT IDENTIFIER
In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a print device is described. The print device includes multiple consumable components. Each consumable component includes a portion of a hardware-based identifier. At least one sensor of the print device reads multiple portions of the hardware-based identifier. A controller of the print device combines the multiple portions of the hardware-based identifier and verifies the hardware-based identifier to determine an authenticity of the multiple consumable components.
PROCESS CARTRIDGE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A process cartridge mountable in and dismountable from an image forming apparatus includes a frame, a storing portion provided on a mounting surface of the frame and configured to store information on the process cartridge, a projection projecting outwardly of the mounting surface in a direction normal to the mounting surface, and an electrical contact portion mounted on the projection and electrically connected to the storing portion.

CORNER TIE ATTACHMENT FOR A BAG LINER FOR RECEIVING A POWDER SUCH AS TONER
A tie attachment assembly, including a first layer including a first surface and a second surface, the first surface including an adhesive, a fold line, and a second layer, including a third surface, a fourth surface connected to the first surface, a first cutout arranged on a first side of the fold line, and a second cutout arranged on a second side of the fold line, opposite the first side.
Corner tie attachment for a bag liner for receiving a powder such as toner
A tie attachment assembly, including a first layer including a first surface and a second surface, the first surface including an adhesive, a fold line, a second layer, including a third surface, a fourth surface connected to the first surface, a first cutout arranged on a first side of the fold line, and a second cutout arranged on a second side of the fold line, opposite the first side.
Toner amount detection device for image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a container, a storage unit, a drive unit, a detector, and a determination unit. The container is configured to accommodate toner therein and be detachably mounted on an image forming apparatus main body. The storage unit is configured to store identification information on the toner accommodated in the container, and use history information. The drive unit is configured to rotationally drive a rotation target constituted by the container to transport the toner to an opening provided in an end of the container. The detector is configured to detect a current value of the drive unit. The determination unit is configured to determine a state of the container based on the current value detected by the detector.
